THANKS
I just received an e-mail that made me think a helluva lot.
It was about us not, NOT saying thanks to the military men and women serving us abroad. Or being afraid to comfront a military person and say thanks. I know that I did that this Christmas. I wanted to thank a Marine for collecting toys for Toys for TOTS and was shy. It is something I regret not doing. A simple hand shake or even the slightest gesture. I know I did nod and say Hi, but that does not seem enough.
I have seen a lot of profiles of GIs in Iraq and Afgasinstan and in the U.S. among other places. Trying to work out during their spare time while they serve us. That is right serve us.
I personally want to take this time and say Thank you. That is all THANK YOU. Yes there are people here that do greatly appreciate what you are doing for us here at home. You are in our prayers and thoughts.
Keep the Faith guys!
THANK YOU

Speaking for the guys that I lift with and myself, Thank You. You shouldn’t feel bad for not saying something you should be glad that you wanted to because there are many more that would rather say other things. It is a pleasure to serve our great country.
By the way stick with the program you will get where you want with a little determination. Having already been there after a short time muscle memory will kick in and you will notice the effect much faster. Thanks again.

I will pass on your thanks and greatly appreciate the time you took to post it. I can tell you that I have never met a service member who does what we do for the thanks, but each and every one of us sure feels good when we hear it.
Thank YOU for remembering us.

THank you Rick for taking the time to say what you did. I know that I am honored and humbled to serve our nation, the principles and beliefs of freedom, and the fine folks of our nation who make us great. Your words and the sentiment behind them mean a great deal to me. Thank you my friend. God Bless the USA.

Thank you for the appreciation Rick.
It’s good to know that there are people back home who appreciate and understand the hardships we go through. We are separated from our families, and any luxuries many people take for granted back home. But it’s what every Solder/Sailor/Marines does to serve our Great Nation. It feels good to hear “Thank You” from people like you. Lots of people cant stand there own military only because they think the world is one big garden and everyone wants to smell each others flowers. The truth is, there are countries that are out to get us, and want to smash our garden just because we have freedoms they do not understand. That is what we are all over the world to protect, “Our Happy little Garden”…LoL
Any way…..I’m rambling on.
I just want to say thank you for all your gratitude. It means allot to us out here. And when your out and about back home, don’t be shy to just walk up and say “Excuse me, I just want to say thank you for serving”. You’ll be surprised, most of us might not know what to say because we aren’t used to getting that kind of support. I know it makes me feel like all my sacrifices are worth while. A couple of people have said that to me and it made me feel great…..:-)
Thanks Rick U.S.A.

Once again, Thank you for caring. We need more people like you. The ones that actually give a shit about us. It seems that no one cares until something bad happens and we are called up for duty. We (Millitary) take the oath to deffend this great nation at the drop of a hat. We love what we do and do it with no questions asked. I just wish everyone would get on you page of the book. Thanks, Mike

Rick,
I can remember right after 9/11 how much support for the troops there was. It has tapered off some since then, but notes like yours does a lot to refuel the fire. I just hit 22 years of service, and I am always humbled by genuine appreciation. Thanks, Troy
