Ok, this is my fist actual "blog" entry so bare with me. After seeing my trainer on saturday (same one that helped me through my contest prep) to get me on a new bulking diet, I was actually very suprised at how simple bulking can be. Unlike a contest diet, when you are on the offseason, it doesn’t matter if you have a little extra rice or if you have to get off your normal eating schedule. For the entire month of June I was eating around 10 meals a day, and I was still craving food! I was as my trainer said "making eating a job". So, to sum this up, I have started taking a weight gainer by ISS called "Gainer Matrix", I take 3 sccops in the morning (2 pre workout, 1 postworkout) and then I take 2 1/2 scoops as my 4th meal. This is much easier to deal with due to the fact that I have to work, and I am getting the same amount of calories that I would have gotten if I was eating whole foods. This is my new diet:

1. 1 1/2 cups of oatmeal, 2 scoops of whey

2. (preworkout) 2 scoops of ISS gainer 1 scoop of ISS Rush

3. (postworkout) 1 scoop of ISS Resatur8, 1 scoop of ISS Gainer, 1 scoop of whey, mixed with gatoraid

4. 8 oz turkey, 1 1/2 cups of rice

5. 2 1/2 scoops of ISS Gainer

6. 8 OZ chicken/steak/fish, 12 oz sweet potato, veggies

7. 8 OZ Chicken, veggies

8. 3 sccops of Casein protein.

*I am also having about 2 gallons of water a day

As for training, Monday was my first day back into the gym from a 4 day vacation at the beach. I was going to a gym at the beach from Monday-Wednesday, but just felt like i needed a break. Boy I made the right choice, this week I have had the most intense workout sessions ever. I started with Back on Monday, Chest on Tuesday, arms on Wednesday, and I hit legs today (thursday). My leg workout was the hardest ever! I trained with a trainer/bodybuilder/state champ and boy he knows how to kill em! This was our workout:

warm up with 2 sets of squats 15 reps

Squat and leg press superset 4 X 12 12 8 2. (went all the way up to 365 on the squat rack for last set)

walking barbell lunge (other side of gym and back)

leg extention *squeeze for 2 seconds at top and bottom* superset with standing leg curl 3 X 15 15 12

stiff leg deads 3 X 15

my legs were dead, this may not seem like alot but it sure as hell was enough kill my legs!
