These are a few of my favorite things….

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen GLITTENS!!!

Glittens, no more. I will have to wait til next year. It’s all swimsuits and sunscreen being sold now…And rightly so, being freezing cold and all. Yesterday morning the wind chill was like 30below or something crazy. -6 degrees…school was cancelled. Today I asked a 4 year old if he enjoyed his day off school yesterday. He’s a smart little guy. ..I started around age 11. This is what he said: "Ummmm, we didn’t have school tomorrow b/c it was zero degrees outside." It was about that time that he threw a snowball at my face and made me cry. He’s a strong little guy, as well as being a smart little guy.

Seriously, though….a few of my fave things: a picture of my bro and I as kids on Vday holding little heart cakes that we made. I ate both of them, thank you. I displayed this pic in my kitchen in honor of Vday. My Sigg water bottle, which serves many puposes other than holding water. I love that thing and I use it EVERYDAY!! It can also be used as a weapon. I rolled around on it in the sauna tonight and jabbed it in my back. Oh….and that Leprechaun mug I got at Goodwill for $0.99!! Go in for halloween costume clothes, come out the proud owner of a giant green mug and a black Nintendo sleeveless tshirt!! I was a winner that day….

Even though it was about 10degrees this afternoon, the Lieutenant aka the beast (dog) had to be walked. He was given the last of the Pepto that was in the fridge last night when I came home to see that he had successfully swiped a big bag of supplements that I had in a freezer ziploc bag on the counter. In that bag were some Cytolean, vitamins, ground flax seed…..and some other stuff. Protein maybe? I don’t know b/c it is all gone. He ate all the powders, chewed up and spit out some capsules. I don’t really know. I gotta set up some surveillance cameras around this joint to see what’s going on. I don’t think he ingested the Cytolean or any actual pills, but he did slobber on them and toss them around a bit. I think that damn green monkey (Money Money Monkey) popped a few. They are both going crazy if you ask me. The beast’s other friend, Cocoa the Dinosaur is the only sane sumbitch in this house….Yes, I live in this house. When I walked in last night, this is what I saw:

That damn hound was passed out with his two homies on the floor. Whatever. Pepto soon followed. FYI, the vet told me to do that when he eats unauthorized rubbish.

Yesterday I did some cardio and upper body at the gym with the equipment I like for upper body. It makes sense if you think about it….

Yesterday training:
cardio/shoulders & back/suana

Elliptical 45min

3 sets, 15-20 reps of the following supersets:
Rotary shoulder press
Lateral Raise machine

Rotary Lat Pull
Rotary Upper Back

Seated Row (I am sore from this today :) )
Bent over Reverse flyes

DB front/lateral raises

sauna 25min

Today’s Magnificant Leg Workout:

Today was a leg day sandwiched by cardio! It was delicious!

StepMill 20min– high intensity, with intervals for last 6-7 minutes (I almost died, but not quite…)

Legs– 2 supersets of the following:
leg extensions 25 reps
walking lunges X 25

Cable static lunges X 15each
Single leg stiff legged deadlift with DB X 15 each

2 sets of single leg presses on Smith Machine X 30 reps, then 25 reps

Single leg stiff legged deadlifts again X 20
Step ups X 15 each

2 sets leg press machine X 25-30 reps

3 supersets of:
Standing leg curl X 12
leg curl on ball X 12-15

Treadmill walking lunges X 150

Recumbent bike 20 min,  intervals

sauna 35min…..This was only gonna be 30min, but the dude with Tourette’s was in there and I had to stay for that!! No, that is not a laughing matter, but when you are delirious and sweaty and childish like me….well, it is only partly comical. He called me names!! Ok, he really didn’t, but I think he was trying to set us all on fire. He was hunched over the hot rocks and I seriously smelled something burning. Oh, and I did a set of hip thrusts towards the end of my sauna time….and, yes the sweat pouring off my legs ended up in my eyes!! It was great! FYI, I kick it in the sauna with a large towel so I don’t leave a leave sweat or sit in anyone elses.

I give it about two weeks before the stores are selling Halloween decorations…lol And "ouch" on the cold weather…it got down to the 40’s today here and I thought that was cold. Fortunately it’s supposed to be in the 60’s again later in the week.

My Weimaraner managed to eat 10 pounds of fudge my ex made a while back, that was an exciting time. This massive dog hyped up on sugar and me thinking he was going to die from eating all of the chocolate. The kitchen looked like I walked into a murder scene, chocolate everywhere. Luckily he didn’t get sick as his quick thinking, he ate a hole in the drywall to neautralize any ill effects of the chocolate, smart dog.

Isn’t Goodwill the best. I have to stay away as I will buy crap I didn’t even know I needed, but once I see these items, I know I was meant to own them. The sleeveless Nintendo shirt sounds like a purchase I couldn’t have passed up, so good call there.

Did I ever tell you I have Tourettes Syndrome? Well I do. And when I was little kids used to throw rocks at me and called me twitchy!! Later on in life strange accidents befell many of those children.
