Workin it out in the Burgh
I did bring my supplements with me and took them as I usually would before my workout. I had to create a makeshift funnel with some paper towels b/c I didn’t have room to bring my shaker bottle and had to use a regular water bottle. I thought someone who claims to be a king would have such a thing as a shaker at his home, but noooooo. That’s what happens when you have expectations. Saturday’s workout was legs and a little cardio. Today, Sunday was upper body and a little cardio. I think the weights were heavier here. Dunno why…I think there is something up with this city. The StepMill also seemed harder. I did about 5 minutes and that was enough of that nonsense. Man….it was an old school StepMill, too. It didn’t have a little ledge to put a magazine, and didn’t have a spot for water either…..I need those two things to be present!! Do I read or drink water on there….hell no, but I need it!! I don’t know what was up with it, but 5 min was all that thing got out of me today.
It was a new gym and both times we went shortly before it closed so I couldn’t do my usual 1/2 day workouts. Basically I just jumped around and did different exercises as I walked around. Two things that rocked about that gym: 1) the water was super cold–the coldest I’ve ever had 2) In the locker room there was a giant roll of what I thought were paper towels for hand drying. I went to grab some with my soaking wet grubby hands. Those weren’t paper towels at all….they were plastic trash bags to put your wet clothes in. I was so impressed with that!! That’s the type of thing that impresses me….At my gym I usually put my wet clothes in that spinner thing that the swimmers put their trunks in to get out the excess water. That’s how much I sweat, folks. Oh…..and I don’t wash my hands. That was a joke…I believe there is a direct correlation between the fact that I am dirty and never wash my hands and the fact that I never get sick. Coincidence? No.

I have a shaker bottle stuck at work, keep forgetting to bring it home so that I dont have to use my duct tape funnel to dump my superpump scoop into the water bottle.

The pull of gravity is alot stronger on the east side of the U.S.A and alot of gyms in PA. put magnets in the floors to make it harder to lift the weights at least thats my theory and im sticking to it .The king doesnt need his own shaker his subjects serve him

Actually Scott is right! The closer you get to the Atlantic Ocean the stronger the pull of gravity. I also think that is why there are so many zombies in this area. That’s just my theory though.

Danica–the wise George Carlin proved your theory about being closer to germs and not being sick, though I forget the title of his great revelation.

Just read the kings last blog and decided to stop by and check you (hard core danica) out! His perception of your meeting is a little different than yours…LOL…..But it is awesome that people on this site are actually meeting in real life.
