More Determined than Ever!

The last time I wrote I was feeling really depressed and not very motivated to workout, but I am glad to say that I am no longer feeling that way.  I am back to being very determined and if possible more determined than I have ever been.  I think it all started because I found out on Friday that I was starting my new job the following Tuesday, which was the best news I could have gotten mainly because I’m broke! 

With that said I decided to make a workout program for me and my mother.  I worked all weekend on them and so far I think that they are going to workout fairly well, I really like that I can see what I am doing on paper.  My strongest workout is always my abdominals…I absolutely love to work them out.  My weakest workout would have to be cardio….because I lack cardio in my daily routine you cannot see my muscle def in my abs yet, and that is something that I am going to def change.  I even went on an hour long bike ride on Sunday with my little sister and I felt amazing.  So no more negativity from me…I am ready to do what it takes to get the body that I know I can have-you know one that your happy with!

Lost My Motivation!

I started working out in November of 2007 and I was very motivated and for some reason I have just lost it.  I think it started with all of the changes at work that I was not happy about….this made me just depressed and for some reason I stopped going to the gym.  I haven’t gained any weight because I still am eating healthy I’m just not happy with where my body is at.  I thought it might help if I had someone to workout with me so my mom joined the gym as well, but we are on different schedules…I like to workout at night and she likes to workout in the morning.  Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t come to a complete hault( I still workout a little at home) I just know that if I kept it up from the beginning I could look so much better at this point in my transformation!

I suppose I should use this as a wake up call.  I need to challenge myself and sart setting short term goals again.  I think that for me seeing is believing so I am going to take more progress pictures of my self so I can see the progress or lack there of.  So either way I will be motivated to work harder at obtaining my overall goal!
