Excuse me sir, could you spare some plates?

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009

Ok, so as planned I started to get back on track and started adding weight to most of my lifts. Yesterday was chest, so I increased my incline and flat bench by 5kg, and added a 5kg plate while dipping. Did not increase weight on flys, as I use this movement to stretch my pecs more than build muscle.

Today was back day, so I added 10kg for wide grip chins, 10kg for bent rows and 5kg for seated rows. I also started to do deads again after a 6 month lay off due to a pulled lower back muscle. I love deads, and could feel them working straight away. only went light to start working in, but I am looking forward to going hard again, as I know they alone will help me add mass again. I feel realy good about the last two sessions, and feel I am on the right track to getting back on track, if you know what I meen. Stay tuned for more mass.

WARNING- I CAN’T SPELL! IF YOU ARE ANAL RETENTIVE AND IT BUGS YOU TO READ BLOGS WITH MISTAKES, PLEASE LEAVE NOW

Ahhh well, its come to this. Starting a blog! Not really my style I must say, but if it helps inspire me to train harder, eat better or type faster then it may not be all that bad.

I have been starved of gains for far to long. I train hard, I eat well, I try to get my 7-8 hours of sleep each night, so whats the deal? well maybe I have dropped the bundle and forgotten one of the major pillars of body building…..PROGRESSION.

SO, I have decided to up my game, add a little weight to all of my lifts. I have not been progressing in weight for quite some time, so there is not much reason for my muscles to get bigger.  I belive by doing this I will be able to add the needed inches to satate my hunger for more size. I cannot understand why I have neglected this basic principal for so long, because I know it very well, but I guess these things happen. Sometimes we fall into a rutt, and find a groove we feel comfortable with. I understand weight training is suppose to be uncomfortable, so more weight is the order of the day.
