Implants!!!!!
What’a good people, just a quick question to all the ladies out there with implants. My friend i’m training is really thinking about getting her "a pair"( i make it sound like shoes or something, lol)anyway i was wondering what’s the best way to go about it cause for some reason she was talking to me like i would know, lol. I’m asking like do you think it best under the muscle on top of the muscle there the armpit or whatever you get my point hit me up please.

I recently "bought" myself a pair and I went under the muscle. The look will be more natural, but he also cut a tremendous amount of muscle in my chest to get them there. So a trade off I suppose. I would also recommend that she go bigger than she thinks she wants to. I was so concerned that mine would be too big and well, I am getting them redone in about 6 months because they are too small for my frame. I would also recommend silicone. They look and feel better and will "hold up better" over time. Saline will tend to have a "ripple" effect especially at the top. As far as an insertion point…I also had a lift, so I have what he called a lollipop incision…around the aureole (is that spelled right? lol) and then a straight line down. No complaints on that one….just a little info on my experience. Make sure she finds a good doctor that she feels comfortable with. Bargain shopping is a bad idea when it comes to plastic surgery!! Good luck!

I intend to go over. I’m not letting anyone hack through my pecs, and I don’t want to reduce my chest training, or worry about them shifting or getting damaged, or how odd I have seen unders look while posing. I prefer the incision under the fold of the breast, silicone, and slightly overfilled so that they are less likely to ripple even when lean.

I would also suggest silicone, I heard they have a new type that is better than the old stuff. I have saline and with as little real tissue as I have now I can see minute ripples. I also went under the muscles. But I love them and would recommend them to anyone. My Dr. was super nice and made the whole experience good, Dr. David Liland of Dallas.

tell your friend to get online and RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH. there are so many options to go with. It will be dependent on what she wants and how she wants to look. there are pros and cons for saline/silicone, incision sites…all of it. she needs to go on several consultations to pic the dr that she likes best and is confident will give what she wants. Rule #1 to remember, look at what you are starting with, then imagine the same thing, just larger. Anna T had it right, go larger than what you think you want. If u go under the muscle, you can "lose" up to 15% vol….

My wife wants to get them as well and we’ve looked into it a bit. You may want to look up the profile for "abcreations" as she had a good log for hers following her surgery, how it affected her training, recovery, etc. and I know she’s pleased with her results.

The link at the top will tell you more than I know but also do a lot of research about docs etc…I have heard referrals are better than going to someone that you havent seen their work before. My main thing is that you have to "maintain" them and I dont feel like going in and having them re-done every 5-7 years or whatever it is. I wouldnt mind getting some but I will have to wait till im off season and not competing or training.

There are so many options, best if she takes her time, does her homework (research) and finds a doctor she can be totally upfront with. The incision is an issue, the type of implant determines the incision. Silicone comes prefilled, therefore the incision is usually in the fold of the breast.
I went under the muscle and I no longer train my chest. I do miss bench pressing! I have to tell you, implants under the muscle are kind of scary looking when working with weights and hoisting yourself up in certain positions! LOL. I can most certainly flex my girls. Silicone does look more natural. However, you have to have an MRI done after three years and every year after that to detect leaks. BTW, not covered by insurance. Silicone is a foreign substance, it can be an issue if you have a leak, it does not dissolve in the body like Saline. If you have a leak with a Saline implant, you’ll know immediately about the deflation and the material washes through you.
Best thing to do, find a woman with a good set of purchased tata’s you like and get the number to her doctor. I guess one of the most important questions you can ask yourself when getting such surgery are a couple of things. Are you going to mind the boobs? Working out is a tad bit different afterwards and you have to work them to keep the pockets open. Do you want to be a pair of tits walking into a room or do you want them to compliment the body? Don’t forget, a whole lot bigger requires a new wardrobe! Do your homework. I spent six months doing research and looking for a doctor. Interviewed four doctors, settled on the 4th doctor and spoke to patients concerning all four doctors. Take a look at their work! All of them have photo albums. If you see a picture of a skewed job, don’t be shy, ask!

Funny, Litlebit had a blog about this last night…I personally had breast augmentation…(breast reduction/lift with implants)…..everyone has different ideals about what they think would look best on thier own body….i liked smaller ones….LOL….I think over the muscle is better, only my opinion. The Doctor (in my opinion) should not just be a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, but also a Board Cet recontruction…..the Dr. should be able to give you the pros/cons of all diffrent types of augmentation…Also the truth about scarring that can occur….everyne has diffrent skin types & that can effect the overall appearance. I have seen really awesome Breast jobs on some women with smaller breast that are inserted through the belly button. They can do so much these days!!!! Erica;0)

I don’t have any…want some, after kids…but I’ve had friends that have them and they suggest a log of what I’ve read in other comments….under the muscle is more natural; now that they’ve "brought silicone back" it’s def the way to go. Not sure her situation, but i’ve heard that if she has to get a lift, the lift alone will take away another cup size so…once she does lots of reserch, she should make sure her doctor is COMPLETELY understanding what she wants and how she wants it. . . that’s all the info i can share…I’ll be asking the same questions when i get mine
if and when that happens

I went under the muscle and under the breast…I have had mine for 2 years and haven’t had any problems……I would tell her to go a little bigger than she wants because ALL girls that have this done wish they did…me included

She should definitely do as much research that she can possibly do… & then talk to a doc and then get a 2nd opinion.
They will have important information, and will also be more informed about her individual health. She needs to make sure all of her questions are answered fully before she makes her decision.
