Earlier today i went for a run, and i seem to have progressed over the last seven days. I ran three times this past week and each time was difficult for me. Today for some reason i was able to control my breathing and maintain a steady pace. I did notice however, i do need to work on controlling my breathing just a little bit while ascending steeper hills, but other than that i seem to be doing well. I was never into running, but now that i try and put all my effort into it it is quite pleasant. If you may have any advice on how i can control my breathing better while ascending hills or just in general, it would be greatly appreciated. Until next time,
Howard R.

Well, my first week of training again is officially over. I have not felt better since I was training before I stopped. I am looking forward to next week, when the adventure begins yet again. Until next time,

I went for a 20 minute run about an hour ago. At first it was strenuous, but after my fist lap and my HR boosted to meet the increased physical demand it felt quite good. I went at a nice steady pace and i feel that is the key, for me at least until I get back into running. I also did my daily dose of push-ups (Incline and regular) and overall i feel great. Until next time,

Peanut Butter, one of my favorite foods!! I understand it is high in carbohydrates but it is moderately high in protein as well. What do you think about Peanut Butter and it’s nutritional value? Is it ok to consider peanut butter a safe food, or is it a cheat food? Thank you for your help,
Howard.

Today I did Back, Shoulders, and Traps. I am feeling quite energetic and I feel my fire has been ignited, yet again. I have been doing push-ups every night (Since 6/14/09) and my pecs are feeling awesome. I think i will do push-ups five nights a week and rest on the weekends. Other than that tomorrows workout will include Chest, Triceps, Glutes, and Forearms. Until next time, There are no such things as dreams, It’s a lifestyle.

I want to incorporate cardio into my regimen at least 3 times a week. I was wondering if running the dsy before doing Legs would decrease the impact they would be able to withstand. Also, i know running the day of, before or after workout, is a bad idea. What about the day after legs, is it bad to run at that time. I am unsure but I would imagine so because the already fatigued muscle groups will endure the impact an break down, instead of recovering. Well, if you have helpful hints, i am very appreciative.

Last night i started deep tissue stretching again. I must say the only downside to this is the vast amount of stretch marks that comes along with it. I have minimal marks now, but i am afraid as i progress i will gain some. I use fragrance fre lotion to prevent this from happening and it works, to a degree. Does anyone know of a better method for preventing stretch marks?Any information is helpful information, Thank you,
Howard.

Today I did Quads, Glutes, and Hams and i feel so good. It is my second day returning to heavier weights and I feel so energized. I am trying to create a workout plan to do each group twice a week so if you have any suggestions, i would be very appreciative of them. Thank You,
Howard R.

Hello all, I am officially announcing I am aiming towards competition again!! My goal is to enter before the year 2011 and dominate the stage. Just to let everyone know why i stopped, i began college a year ago come September and i took on a load of classes that ended up being a bit much. I was psychologically stressed about not Working-out, but i knew deep down school should always come first. I managed to obtain all A’s and become a leader in many on campus activities that will carry over from semester to semester until my departure. One last thing before i go, i would like to thank all of you who in the past helped me to excel beyond what i was capable of doing on my own.
HOWARD.
