Funny thing is that I currently counted calories for the past 3 days and found out I was not eating enough. My goal has been to gain weight and I’m eating on average only 2000-2100 calories.. This is really low, specially considering the fact that I workout; shot this is even low for a guy who doesn’t workout.

I need to add about 1000-1400 calories to my diet so I’ll start trowing in fruits and salads to my meals, and have bigger portion snacks. I’ll track that for a while and see how many more calories that add to my diet.

Actually, I went to a convention in San Antonio, TX this weekend and decided to drive. Little did we know a small creature was going to hop on with us… Yeah, a small smelly beetle; who would of known beetles stink that bad. Ha!

We drove nearly 8 hours before we found the beetle hiding inside my pillow case. I’m glad to say we helped that beetle get to San Antonio, but come to think about it; he didn’t pitch in on the gas money. What gives?… Ha! Well that is my very short, cut down, straigtht to the point story about a smelly beetle….

So like I mentioned earlier; I started playing football on Sundays as a good cardio workout…. Well it’s been 4 weeks and it’s crazy fun.. I started to get into it a lot more, so know on Thursday I will start doing some receiver and running back drills to get my skills up..

I don’t know what sport you are into or were into back in tha day, but you have to implement it into your weekly workout… Running around the track or on a treadmill can get boring very fast… Change it up a bit; you will have tons of fun and are getting a workout out of it…

Well till next time…. Oh and whatever you do; Do Not drink a protein shake 20 minutes before playing football!!!! Too heavy….. Ha!

20 oz of Water and a small bar is a lot better….

So I thought; "this home workout videos are wack", but you know what; this Ab Ripper routine got my attention.. At first I thought it was a tiring workout more than one that would actually work. Guess I was wrong… Its tough and for the first time in about 6 weeks I’m actually sore. You really got to try it at least once; the workout is listed below and it should take you about 15-16 minutes max:

The workout itself:
11 exercises–25 reps of each exercise in this order:
In and Outs (picture being in boat pose and moving your legs in and out)
Bicycle-Same as in and outs but with a bicyle movement
Bicycle in reverse
Crunchy Frog- In and outs with your hands out at your sides bringing them in and wrapping your legs close to your chest
Fifer Scissors-lying on your back one leg hovering over the floor, one up and a 90degree angle both feet flexed and changing them scissor style
Hip Rock and Raise-sort of reverse crunches
Pulse-ups/Heels to Heaven-Reverse crunches with straight legs
V-up roll ups-Similar to a teaser
Obliques-side lying lifting legs and shoulder up at same time, kind of an oblique crunch
Leg climbs-lying on back one leg bent, one leg extended rolling up to top
Mason twist-Oblique twists done VERY quickly with legs raised up off the floor

So I’ve always wanted a way to implement sprinting into my workouts.. Problem is it take some time; not to run but just stretching and warming up… So I’ve never stuck with it… You see I tore my hamstring in HS so I need to take good care of it, I just can’t start sprinting out of nowhere without warning. I have to warm that leg up and really stretch it.

Just resently, a few friends and I started getting together and playing Flag Football. It turns out to be a great workout. My calves and legs were sore the next day.. So now I implement football as my second leg workout which serves as great cardio as well. Anyway, I’m looking forward to next Sunday morning for some more football and hopefully an interseption… Ha!

For all you guys that don’t follow Track and Field; this might not mean a thing to you. Track became one of my favorite sport after I started participating it.. Once I found out how tough and mental track and field was, I felt I had no choice but to take on that challenge. Fell in love with the sport; I did hurdles, triple jump, and whichever relay I was needed in..

Anyways, if you saw this weekend’s Grand Prix meet in New York; you probably witnessed one of the best performances ever. Usain Bolt broke the 100 Meter World record with the time of 9.72 seconds.. Big props to to him I wish him the best. Except at the Olympics; either American Tyson Gay or Jamaican Asaffa Powell will take the gold. Ha!

Well, gotta sleep… I’m tired..

I don’t have much to say so I’ll just tell you about about the last two days. They’ve been hectic. I’ve only got 4 hrs of sleep Wednesday night to Thursday morning and 5 hrs of sleep Thursday night to today. Yes I did workout also, so I’m beat. TGIF….. Its pay day, I got off of work at 2:30 pm, went to the gym, and now I’m hitting the sack early.

Forget going out or anything… I’m sleeping dammit.. Ha! Well I hope you guy have a great weekend.
