Off to a good start

Well week 3 down we have won each of our games for a total of 92-6. The boy started off not shore that fist week and let a team score. It has not happen again. The last game I was blind sided by the coach of the other team. He asked me if we could stop hitting his team so hard they did not want to play anymore because we hit too hard. Has it come to this in sports today that we not only have to tell all of the kids they won even if they did not. Soon we will not keep score and punish kids forĀ  being good at a sport. I am not one of those people who handle thing like this well. I told the coach if his team did not want to be hit they could hit first or go play flag football. Nothing against flag but this is tackle football you know tackle is the key word here. Well have to go for now will up date later. GO FRIENDSWOOD FR. COLTS

WOW! How rediculous. What ever happened to maning up and teaching your team to play harder, stronger and longer.

O yeah that would take work. It is easier to just ask the other team not to play as well. PFT…. What is this world coming too?

I can see both sides - you can tackle without taking the other guys out. But, if you have strong players and they are not doing it extra hard just to hurt the other team well then they others need to suck it up!
I agree - things have gotten wayyy to politically correct - just to not have hurt feelings??!! Come on that is how to build character - someone does have to loose….

Totally understand…I’m a teacher and I have parents complaining that their kids have to walk up the stairs to their classes!! There are tons of pathetic parents out there. We are just suppose to ‘rub their bellies’ and tell all the kids that they are great to make them feel good. Give me a break!! Good Luck!

Wow, I guess I’d better start saving up for all that therapy I’m going to need. *sniff* when I was a kid. I didn’t always win. *sniff* I lost sometimes and then had to shake hands and learn to play better next time… *shakes head* if only they knew back then.. LoL…

Just when you think you’ve heard it all! Why did that other team bother to show up/ Maybe they need a new coah who will teach them how to take a hit and how to hit harder. It’s football, getting hit happens.

That coach is probably one of the ones making a lawsuit against McDonalds because it made his kids fat. That coach does not want to take responsability for the fact that his team was not prepared.
