DRMMRMN’s thoughts

I have a 12 yr old cute little girl. She is growing in to a little lady real fast and boys are snifing around. I have put fear in them so far. Soon I fell I might have to snap one in half just to keep them away. So how do I choose, is it the "punk kid" but then the other could think I did not like him. So do I break the "goodie goodie" kid but he is helpful with my smaller kids when they are out playing. How do I pick well I will just keep making faces at all of them til one makes the wrong move then "WAM". Just kidding can’t kill them just teach her how to kick them in the ding-ding. No I will teach her right and wrong, and pray everyday she does the right things.

So the big race has come and gone. Did not beat the teacher, she came in third over all. Come to find out she is ranked locally. So the next thorn in my side would show up, a 7yr old class mate of my son. About a mile in this little girl runs up next to me and starts to talk. I’m sucking up air like a fish out of water and she’s talking like we are sitting down. This goes on for the next mile til someone passes us she knows so she follows them. Then it hits me I am about to get beat by a 7 yr old 1st grader this is not going to look good. So i pick it up a bit. We make the last turn I make my move she stays with me. I tell her that her shoe is untied it does not work. I speed up I have her beat about 50 ft from the finish I have her I look back I’m going to do this. Then I start walking Ali beat me by 2ft. Sometimes it not good to win. So lesson lerned. Watch out next year.
