Torn PEC 1st Doc visit
Today I had my 1st doc visit. My PEC had torn away from the bone. They are scheduling surgery Nov 14 07. I’m having towait a week due to Blue Cross Blue Shield. I’m doped up on percaset for now dulling the pain. I’ll be out 6-8 weeks then it will be hell I’ll have to struggle thru very light. But I guess that gives me time to grow my legs. I was enjoying a off season diet eating anything. But now ill have to be more strict trying not to get fat during rehab.

Hey man i am very sorry, i tore my upper pec nearly a month ago, I said the same thing, time to grow my legs, I just got back to doing chest workouts, light weight and controlled slow motions. Best of luck to you man, hope it goes by fast.

Yea, percoset sounds good. Tearing a muscle looks really painful. I am sure you will be right back at it before you know it. Take the time to rest your upper body and focus on legs like you said. I can tell by your physique that you are hardcore in the gym, so take your time once you do heal. One of the ladies in my gym tore her calf in January and re tore it comming back too fast and too hard. She is a WTF competitor and hardcore. I can’t keep up with her.

You’re hardest part will be not pushing too quickly … you’ll have to focus your discipline on NOT training too hard vs going for broke.
