pushing through pain of a loss of loved one

So yeah today was a great lifting day even tho with what im going through with the loss of my granny..i got it done..Worked out with my boss today and her and i are some freaking beasts.. First before she got there i knocked out my Crossfit..Squat Clean 1-1-1-1-1-1-1, @ 95lb im getting back into oly lifting could have done way more but really focusing on my flexibility..Then we warmed up with Jumprope and hit chest/back. Started with Rack Deadlifts going partial to mainly hit the low back and exclude the hamstrings reps for everything was 15,10,5. Bench Press on Stabilityy Ball, Lat Pulldowns,Incline Bench, Bent Over Row, Decline Bench, S.Arm Lat Pulldown, DB Pullovers,
Cable Flyes on Stabilty Ball( Burnouts)..we got it in, and i feel freakin good right now..thanks for helping get the weight up granny

R.I.P Granny

Today i worked out with my boss but had way more on my mind..my grandmother passed away yesterday after a long long fight but i know she is in a better place..im truly glad that i went to see her saturday as she took her last breaths at 2:15 pm yesterday, she helped mold me into the strong man i am today..i love and miss you my new guardian angel..workout…Elizabeth 21/15/9 of cleans at 95lbs and bi’s and tris at same rep range…db curls,lying french press,preacher curls,dips,concentration curls,overhead tri-extensions bb curls(drop set), 2 way kickbacks, Cable curls, cable pressdowns..Running mans (1:00 each 20lb,15lb,10lb,8lb..

So today was supposed to be my off ACTIVE RECOVERY DAY and actually i ended up training chest and back with our new lead sales person at the gym.  Didn’t plan on it but she said she wants to learn new techniques from all angles, so we hit different variations of bench presses and on the ball, and hit the back hard as well..I then showed her a great core circuit on the Paramount that she enjoyed and i know in time she will love..Then when finished i got in my planned 3mile run..I’m feeling really good right now..oh yeah woke up at 200lb…hell yeah, keep on striving

Gettin It In

So my workout time was off today, took my Fast Twitch at 1130, got to work a.k.a, the gym and had to train my boss at 130 instead of 12 so it was just sitting in my stomach, i hit here hard with db presses, deadlifts, snatches, front,back,o.head squats and core..loved it..my workout…killed..came to a total of 120 pull-ups and burpees in about 30 mins, mind u subbed in jumprope for some burpees, shoulder couldn’t take it…feeling hella good tho

workout of the day: a new week

Now today i started out with my workout and hit 30 mins on the treadmill around 10a.m, now i just finished my Crossfit Workout of the day..20 minutes..95lb Thrusters @5 reps, 95lb Hang Power Cleans @ 7reps, 95lb Sumo Deadlift High Pulls @10 reps..now i wont lie this kicked my ass i only got through it 5 and a half times..Wow..Another day down..peace and love to all..Health is Wealth..Other Crossfitters…Get At me

FILTHY FIFTY….DAMN

Now I  don’t know how fast you are supposed to do the Filthy 50 but for doing it for the first time..I am ok with 52 mins..because I finished..but damn was it rough..50 of each..box jumps..jumping pullups..kettleball swings 30lbs..walking lunges..push press..back ext…wall ball shots..burpees..double unders..I finished…nothing will stop me

Another Day

Well today’s bootcamp was good for the ladies that came despite the rain…Took them down the road to my alma mater and we did the stairs AGAIN..I even joined them..This time we mixed in sprints with different type of lunges, calve raises, sprints and hops. it was a great 40 min workout until the down pour of wetness..now im about to get on this damn elliptical and do about an hour..gotta get this bodyfat down..trying to live by example.  Fast twitch today for some reason did not sit wel with me tho while sprinting

BACK AT IT

Thanks to all those who gave me inspiration and spoke words of encouragement as i went through some serious medical shit last week and ended up in the hospital. i w havent lifted in a week so today was my day back..for those interested we unfortunatley lost our playoff game to the Indianapolis Tornadoes but now may play in a different tournament to get us to another bowl game. not bad for a first year team to make it to round 2 of the national playoffs.. Workout for today was Crossfit 3-3-3-3-3 of Deadlift worked my way up to 225 there, then did every bodypart with a pyramid of 20-15-12-10-8, felt real good, gonna try to get in some cardio before my last clients come, if not..ill surely get my ass up before i gotta go teach bootcamp in the a.m
