Hey Everyone!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted.  In fact I just haven’t been on BB.com in a while.  Between all my commitments there simply hasn’t been enough hours in a day.  My training & diet have been so so.  I’ve maintained my loss but haven’t lost more.  My friends show was this past weekend and my husband & I have both been inspired to work harder.  We have decided to join a small local gym.  Provided I can figure out chld care that is.  It would give us a chance to use more equipment than I currently have.  I also think it will be the push we need thru the winter months & obviously a much better choice than sitting in front of the tv every night.  My coach is working up a new diet plan for me.  I have realized I need to keep my goals in line or there will not be a chance of being ready for the show.  I don’t have much wiggle room now.  I need to do this for myself…to prove I still have it in me & I’m not going to give up so easily.

I’m baaaaaaacccccckkkkkkkkk……..

I’m back at it full time again.  Summer break is over for me & it’s time to put my best effort forward.  I’m very proud of myself for being able to maintain…and yes! I even lost during my time off.  Always before I would regain if I took time off and this time I didn’t!  So WOOHOO! for me. lol  It just goes to show how much I’ve retrained myself from old habits.  Yes I still mess up, but I don’t let it start a bad cycle of eating.  I pick myself up, dust myself off & as Michelle says…get back up on my horse. lol  Now that I’m back in the game I will re evaluate my training program.  I think I will work ABS more as that is the area I need the most work in.  I am loving my legs.  They are really toning up and keeping the muscle.  People are even commenting on how nice my legs are starting to look…which I love.  All in all, I’m thrilled with what I was able to do this summer without really doing much training.  I’m super excited to see what happens this fall with a strong commitment to my exercise schedule.  Thanks for everyone’s support!  You all are wonderful!! =)

Hey everyone!  Bear with me as I’ve not been online tons.  We’re doing a bunch of mini vacations and it has taken a good chunk of my time up.  I am still training…granted not like I was…and I’m maintaining.  I start my big contest push around Sept 14th.  Hope to have a good amount of pounds off by christmas time if possible.  The last week in August I should be able to resume a normal workout routine again of 5x’s a week.  Otherwise, I’m well & thanks to all who have checked in…look for me to hit BB.com hard by the end of Aug.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!!!  =)

For those of you who haven’t seen me around, be assured I’m still here.  Just got back & back to my training this week.  I’m kind of worn out and feel like I need a day or 2 to catch up on sleep but hopefully by the end of the week I’ll be feeling better.  Other than lacking motivation from taking the week off, my weight has maintained well.  I actually amazed myself I didn’t have a gain over vacation.  Can’t say I even ate well either.  Anyway, I’m still here & doing well!  Thanks to all those who asked! :)   Will be updating my profile page shortly.

I have ordered a copy of Body for Life, a set of calipers to measure body fat & also the myotape.  I have been hearing wonderful things about BFL.  Can’t wait to get the book and see what’s in it.  Thanks Capt. Ahab for pointing me towards it! =)  Maybe this program will break me thru the plateau I seem to be stuck in right now. 

Otherwise, the scale is still bouncing up & down within a half pound everyday.  Time to change things up and try a new approach for a little bit.  I did a lot of lifting around here yesterday just doing work on the farm… including a 3 sided box that was made out of green 2X8’s and was 24 FEET long.  Had to lift & carry that at my chin level.  Can’t tell you what it weighed, but that thing was HEAVY!  So I know I got a decent weight lifting session in.  Granted much less stylish than being at a gym using fancy equipment, but effective anyway lmao.  Hope everyone has a great week! =) 

Trying to hang tough…

Well I’ve been trying to be good & keep at it even though the scale is yo-yoing on me right now.  I changed up my workout schedule a bit midweek, so we’ll see if that isn’t enough to get me going again.  Otherwise I haven’t had any measurement changes this week so I’m just here working on it.  Did abs & legs today…boy do I feel it.  Ugh!  I wish this wasn’t such a long process.  I was told to try either hydroxycut or Lipo6.  That said I’m a bit afraid to take anything.  I knwo it’ll help speed up the weight loss, but am very concerned I’ll experience some sort of cardiovascular side effect.  Still not sure about them though…would love to hear any opnions you all have on that.  =) 

Frustration…

Ok I’m pretty frustrated right now with my progress.  I feel like last week was a wasted week.  I’ve been cruisin right along losing pounds & inches.  Last week I ended up only losing .6lb and no inches.  Maybe it’s hormone related, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t frustrated.  All that work & effort for .6  lb?!?!!?  UGH!  Anyway, I’m back at it another week & still determined.  Just annoyed I didn’t do better.  Maybe it’s the perfectionist in me but I wanted to see something! lol  Not only that it leaves me with a sense of failure that I don’t like and makes me wonder if I’ll be able to ake my goal.  how many more weeks will I have like this?  SIGH.
