Dear BodyBlog, so I got myself a personal trainer; someone who will kick my ass into high gear and push me. Today was the second workout and God damn, every time I go in there, he kills me… literally… but no complaining because I love the feeling I get afterwards (talk about total narcissism).

Today we did legs workout, and I pushed myself to the point where I wanted to throw up real bad and my eye sight was flashing and I felt really dizzy. I had to lay down for about 10 minutes just to get over it… but yeah… my legs… they’re like jelly now…

The pain is fleeting… the memory lasts forever.

One of the things that I still don’t get is how my deadlift and squat stats are decent but my bench stats aren’t too flashy… in fact it is a bit dismal.

I’ve also lost a lot of weight. Currently sitting around 74 KG which is 10 pounds less than my max. Strange thing is, despite losing so much weight, I still look bigger than previously overall.

Back on the bulking and making sure I eat properly whilst also taking a weight gainer. We’ll see how things pan out over the next few days.

That’s a pretty big drop for no apparent reason; could it be because I’m not hitting the bench as much these days or because I’m doing the bench straight after maxing on the squats?

Dear BodyBlog, today I was tested! I missed my morning workout because I was meeting up with some friends from home for lunch, so I decided to hit the gym at 5:15 after I finished afternoon classes. Getting there, I forgot my membership pass, so I left the gym reasoning that: (1) I had already asked for a pass on Monday so asking for one today would look a little weird, especially as I keep calling them "pass outs"; and (2) the gym would probably be full.

I walked about 10 meters out the building, and then promptly turned back into the building and into the changing rooms. Challenge triumph!!

And today, I’m up to 42" chest. Boo yeah! That’s a 1.5" growth in under a month!!

In other words, my face feels and looks fat! Now the conundrum is that I’m actually getting into the bulk now and actively look forward to eating so first hurdle of trying to eat is overcome. Second hurdle, I want to start cutting up real bad!! When is it that we know we’ve bulked enough? My trainer says I should keep going until I can’t gain anymore weight. I’m guesing that’s around the 85 - 90 kg mark.
