Getting started

February 4, 2008

Next Monday I’m starting a 12 week program finally.  It’s one that I think I will be able to stick with for 12 weeks, so it’s a little lighter.  I don’t want to burn myself out though or else I will just end up quitting, and that doesn’t help me at all.  This week I’m concentrating on getting the exercises I will be doing down and figuring out where I should start with my weight.  I’m also working on figuring out the nutrition side.  I know what I’m supposed to be attempting to do, I just need to figure out what kind of meals, etc I can fit into that plan.  The plan consists of 3 days of cardio and 3 days of weight training.  The weight training is split into upper body and lower body, so one week there will be 2 of one and 1 of the other but the next week it will be the opposite.  I took pre-training pictures today.  They were kind of bad, but not as bad as I figured.  I always thought I was bigger than that, but I can tell there is lots of bf to lose.  I will definitely have to get this food figured out and stick to eating clean or I won’t get rid of it.  I will be alternating when I fit in my training too.  My ex and I are currently sharing custody of our daughter as we haven’t gone to court yet.  So for two weeks I have her and for two weeks he has her.  The two weeks that I have her I will be training in the evening after I get her into bed, so probably around 7:30-8pm.  The two weeks I don’t have her I will be training early morning, so generally will start no later than 5:30am.  I guess we’ll see how it all works out!
