Success

March 7, 2008

I have passed a physical performance test recently. Should be fun to keep myself going over the few months.

Sucess of 1/2 a sort

November 24, 2007

I have been gaining some mass thanks to the BSN True-Mass supplement, which turns out to be my meal about 4 times a day. Work is busy and is going to get worse, my work week have been elongated and hopefully I won’t crack. I noticed that I probably won’t lose weight taking a weight gainer. So I suppose when I am ready I will add Syntha-6 to my mealplan. I want to gain just a little more in certain places and then I will be set for the fat killers.

Also, is it weird to feel uncomfortable being a skinnier fella? Considering I have been overweight almost my entire life.

Exhaustion

October 28, 2007

Lately I haven’t been keeping up. I am trying to make it to the gym. Problem is I work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week and I work 7 hour shifts on the weekend. Lately I am burning out and I just don’t have the energy to work out every day. I am asking for leave so hopefully I get back on track after some R&R.

Bad days

October 20, 2007

I often have bad days when I am excited to go to the gym but I just can’t lift anything and I end up losing drive and just wanting to go home. Well, I tried, my body wouldn’t cooperate. I’ll just sleep.

Everyday opportunities and my personal history

October 17, 2007

Whenever I was in High School, I remember that my cousin was dating a jerkoff. He prided himself in being one of the "strongest" students and always liked to show off. After a few of those times. Me being the waterboy of the football team. I decided I wanted to start lifting. At first, I couldn’t even do a single pushup. My bench press was around 90 pounds. So I decided to start off slow. I started running everyday. A little bit more every day, I ran with dumbells and started doing pushups and crunches. I got up to 20 pushups and went to try out some flat bench press. I went up and started with 135 at 8 reps.

After awhile from that point I trained with the football team and increased quickly. While my cousins boyfriend was still showing off I was training like a madman, going easily 6 days a week, sometimes 2-3 times a day. I was taking in massive amounts of food and supplements. Although I was overtraining. Within 2 months I had surpassed the boyfriend and I could close grip bench press his max for reps and sets. Although to most its still an intermediary weight class. I close gripped 155 for 4 sets of 15.

About 10 months later I was hitting the ground with exhaustion and I believe any more time I would’ve probably died. For about the 10 months I was working out and overtraining. The last 6 months of that I had an upper respiratory bracht infection. I had to take about 1-3 months off.

After a little break of only a few weeks. I came back and decided to run at least 1.5 miles daily at least 6 days a week. I ranged between 1.5-6 miles a day. Which really increased my squat capacity and longevity. My bodyfat came to about 8%. Had I been trying to develope my abs, I probably would’ve had a six pack.

Soon after, within 3 days after graduation I joined the Air Force. Working my ass off for minimal wages ever since.

My training

October 17, 2007

Honestly, I go to the gym right after a 12 hour shift. If I have the energy, I phych myself out and make myself excited. I can only accomplish this for about 30 minutes. So, when I get home, I am at the gym in 20 minutes or I lose the drive. Most of the week I am exausted.

As far as the training goes. I pack in as much as I can in the shortest time frame as I can. I only take NO Explode before I work out, not on off days. just so I can keep my tolerance lower for a longer time period. I am up to 1 and 1/2 scoops. When I get done I drink 1 scoop of CELLMASS. 30 Minutes later a double protein serving and bed.

When I go to the gym, I rely mostly on instictive training, I force at least 1 day a week to work out my legs and lower back. I work on abs and lower back every time I go. I will start off most of the time with a bench press variation, decline, incline, flat. Several sets. Then go do a set of sit-ups. Usually at least 50. I will go off to do another exercise. Whatever bodypart I feel can take a beating is the bodypart I concentrate on. I won’t neglect a bodypart just because it hurts or is sore, but I am generally more careful about how much I do. Lately I have been using the Animal Pak and I felt a very good flow in the gym. Although I am concerned about how much actual food I take in. I am on a meal card and the chow hall only lets us take 2 meats on each meal. The servings are small and so most of the plate becomes cottage cheese, eggs, bacon/ steak/ burgers. I try to take in some complex carbs and my simple sugars come mostly from fruits. I am attempting to eat as best as I can with what I have. I believe I need a good meal replacement shake or mix, just so I get all the stuff I need.

I have a few questions as far as creatine and protein use. Main question being, can you use them together? Do they clash and cancel each other out either completely or partially?

Does CELLMASS after the 30 day suggested consumption become bad? Or just the taste goes and it smells bad? If anyone can answer these questions I wouldn’t mind listening. Although be prepared to LOOK like you know what your talking about.
