I am advancing.

I have been advancing up in weight pretty good. All my weights went up 5 or 10 lbs, just check my bodyspace to see where I’m at. My Pendlay Rows and Military Press I have to work on better. I did go up, but I didn’t get in great form. So next workout I’m going to do the same weight again, that way I make sure my form is good before I advance.

Got in a good workout.

Yesterday’s workout was great. My bench went up 5 lbs, my dead lift went up 5 lbs, my squat went up 10 lbs. it was a good day. i need to run today.

Dang, didn’t get to run today.

Today was a bad day. I probably could have ran this morning, but I put it off thinking I would just run tonight after work. One thing I didn’t count in was that my dad and I had some church business to take care of tonight, so I didn’t get to run. I guess tommorrow is going to be a big make up day. I’ll get my weight workout in, then later I’ll go for a run, if not tommorrow, I’ll run on sunday- my off day. Though that’ll mean two days running in a row. Anyways, I’ll make it up somehow, just wish I would have ran this morning to  keep things like this from happening.

I’m well underway.

I am well into ripptoes starting strength program. I have things figured out, and i am making gains, I am back down to 15% body fat again, and I think it’ll only get lower now. Oh and I am 198.2 lbs of pure muscle baby, well, that still leaves 35 lbs of fat. haha. I am running, building muscle, and i hope to get onto a good nutrition plan again. I’m thinking I like to keep things simple, so if I buy some Met-Rx products, and drink meal replacment shakes for breakfast and lunch, then eat supper at work, it will keep things simple, and for the other in between meals, I can eat something else, to make sure i don’t get bored of the meal replacement, also I will have protien drinks, so that will help. So think this will keep things simple, and make sure i don’t go over calorie. Anyways, things are going good, I updated my stats. I built my own squating rack, so I’ll try to get a picture of that up so all can see ti, it works great. Well I gota go. ttyl

Awsome Week!!!!

Last week I got in three runs, and three workouts with the weights. I am on the Ripptoes guide to starting strength now, and so I might be able to push more weight, but I’m just going to stay at the weights i’m at and go up 5 lbs a workout until I start hitting those very heavy weights again. I am doing squats with a homemade squat rack, I should post a picture for everyone to see my rack. So it’s all going good. Today I ran though, and my knees started to get pain on the side like the muscles around it were beginning to cramp up. Then my hamstrings were starting to cramp, so to stop it I ran faster , and i actually got a pretty good time today. My body fat went from 15 something to 16. something when I stopped working out for a while there,- though still running. Well after only a week of working out, I’m back down into the 15’s. I hope to get close to the 14 percentages soon by the end of this week.

Things are Getting Better!!!

I am definitaly more motivated now to keep working out. I haven’t stopped running yet, running three times a week without fail so far. I was going to start lifting iron again last week,  but the day that I was going to start again, I ended up working 16 hours at the farm, and then the next time I ended up working another long day. My boss got an exchange student from the nederlands and so hopefully I won’t be working as long of days- though the money is nice. So tommorrow if everything goes well, I will start my first day of ripptoes starting strength. I am also looking at some Met-Rx supplements. Protien Plus, Replacement meals, Glutamine, Creatine, and some protien bars and meal bars.

Having Hard Time Staying Motivated

I’m having a hard time sticking to my body building plan. I really liked Shawn LeBrun’s Body Building Plan, my only problem with it is because you split different muscle on different days, then if you aren’t feeling real intense workouts on a certain day, or you skip a day, then that muscle doesn’t get a good workout and most likely you lose muscle cause it hasn’t been worked out for two weeks properly. I decided to switch to full body workouts, so you can workout once a week and still gain some muscle. Though not as effective, at least it doesn’t do damage to the muscle. My running stays pretty consistent, but this week I was sick, and I have only ran once, and i feel I am gaining weight cause I haven’t been able to run. I try to run 3 times a week, usually more. So I just wanted to know what you guys though I could do to help me get more motivitade to boost me up before I finally just quit, cause I really want to keep doing this, but I am just feeling overwhelmed.

It’s a lot easier then jumping from this site to that one over there. I’ll probably post a lot of the same stuff I did post on my other blog, but some things I won’t have to cause this site offer features for you people to see my stats.

Chest

Flat Bench

10 easy reps- 50 lbs

6 slightly heavier reps- 110 lbs

3 heavier reps- 150 lbs

4-6 heavy reps to failure- 200 lbs- 4 reps

4-6 heavy reps to failure- 200 lbs- 3 reps- to heavy

Incline Bench

3 heavier reps- 100 lbs

4-6 heavy reps to failure- 130 lbs- 4 reps

4-6 heavy reps to failure- 130 lbs- 6 reps

Triceps

Narrow Grip Bench

10 easy reps- 40 lbs

6 slightly heavier reps- 80 lbs

3 heavier reps- 125 lbs

4-6 heavy reps to failure- 165 lbs- 5 reps

4-6 heavy reps to failure- 165 lbs- 6 reps

That was todays workout.

Well, I goto go to bed, got to milk cows at 5:00 am. Good night.
