Okay, well, a few things have happened. I joined the reg force army. I was a reservist before but I’ve gone reg force now. Non Smoking is a no go here with about 80% of the population smokers. I have ordered those Electronic cigarettes. If I cant stop having my nicotine, I’ll get it without the tobacco. It’s basically a nicotine inhaler with some cool simulations.
As for food, my move into the military quarters on the other side of canada from where I lived totally made me forget my routine. I mean it’s not that i even just lost motivation and dropped out. As of writing this today and checking out my old entries it’s like "oh ya, I was following a routine" So totally forgot.
Now on the other hand I was trying some new stuff out. I went vegetarian for 3 days. I’m still not to sure about the whole thing. It didn’t last long thats for sure. Tonight for supper I ate some chicken at the mess, and some greens ,with some chocolate milk and a little potato salad. It wasn’t a big meal for sure. And it was healthy. But I’m not to big on this vegitarian thing. Most of the guys here on bodybuilding.com will agree that they would never go vegatarian. It’s one of those things that everyone has good arguments for.
I think I’ll still eat meat, I’ll just watch that the majority of the food on my plate is vegatables and fruits vs the mean. Instead of a ton of meat and some veggies.
My workout routine is basically whatever the master jacks have me doing. Running, biking, swimming, ruck marches. I do alot of walking here on the base as well. It’s huge and I don’t have a car so if I have to get somewhere it’s usually on my feet.
We do have a gym here on the base, but it’s quite a walk away from me. And usually by the end of the day I’m pretty tired. BUt it’s really not a good excuse cause I could still use the extra exercise.
What I should do is jogg to the gym, then hit the weights and jog back afterwards. Or jogg to the gym, and then do some laps for extra cardio. But usually by the time I’m done getting all my stuff together for the next day I’m ready to go to bed so that I’m not up to late for the next day, which usually starts around 5:45-6:00 am.
I have some blisters on my feet. I bought some foot powder for my combat boots. And I’m going to start wearing the military issue combat socks more often. They are suppose to help keep blisters away. I wore regular socks for a few days and I think thats why I got the blisters.

It’s been a while since I wrote. Basically, I’ve been going pretty good with exercise. I’m excersising regularuly, but not consistently as off like switching between muscle and cardio. As of right now I’m up at 4 or 5 every morning and doing at least 45 mins of cardio. My next goal is to start implementing the muscle building, buy getting back into the weight lifting. I want to start working on strength training, so basically high weight low reps. and after that, my meals are really healthy, but i’m eating to much.
i figure if I can continue the cardio, start on the strength training, and manage how much I eat, I should be able to be ripped by august,
wish me luck guys

well heres an update. the Jaw is healed up real well now, only three more months then I’m fully healed. I’m working for the army again. My gains in weight on the barbell is increasing a lot, just check out my profile to see. I’m slowly losing the fat as well. I’ve been boxing for my cardio, but just recently bought a treadmill and want to start using that. my goal is to run 10 k, cause in august I have Basic Infantry Qualification course for the army, and I guess I’ve heard they take guys on 10 k runs in that one, so I want to be ready for it. Usually I just do a short and sweet high paced 20 mins, but I guess I’ll have to stick to an hour or so until august is over lol, well, I’ll keep you all updated.

Well i’m back up to my normal training. Lifting tell failure, and running 20 mins at 80% heart rate. and I’m making some progress so I can be back at where i was before surgery.
But I got a cold, and I learnt the hard way before that if you lift while sick, you’ll get sicker and delay progress longer. So I’m taking today off and hopefully tommorrow I’ll be back into my routine. But ya this sucks, if it isn’t one thing it’s another.

The Doctor said I could start working out lightly. So I tried jogging, and I have like no energy left. I only made it 10 mins, then I had this pain in my chest, and I couldn’t run any longer. I can usually run 20 mins no problem, but I couldn’t even do 10 mins. I also worked out with weights. The Doctor said lightly, but of course I didn’t listen. I tried working out as I normally do. Before surgery I was lifting 200 lbs so I tried warming up and working up to 200 lbs, but I tried 180 lbs and couldn’t even do it once. I usually could do 4 chin-ups, I couldn’t even do one.
I have become so weak. I guess I’ll have to build it back up. I am super sore though from working out. The Doctor did say take it easy with the workouts, so I think I’ll stick with the bodyweight exercises. I have to remember I’m still healing and that takes a lot of energy.
Tonight I did boxing, push-ups, bench dips, and assisted chin-ups. I also did some light squats. Hopefully this will keep the lactic acid from building up and keep the soreness down.
Well I should get some sleep

I bought the Powertec Power Rack from Go Mango Fitness. I also ordered the Body Solid Decline/Flat/Incline bench from a guy off ebay. Now I need to sale my old bench, and I’ll take apart my squat rack and turn it into a slant board for abs. I also bought a punching bag. I’ll probably start boxing as an art form fighting skill, and street fighting as a defensive fighting skill.
I still can’t workout yet, but thursday I go for another checkup and hopefully the doctor will say I can start working out.
Well gota go.

Well, It’s been a month, and the doctor still won’t let me lift weights. Well, I’m getting prepared to go full out as soon as the doctor lets me. I ordered a Powertec Power Rack- can hold 1500 lbs, and I bought a body solid decline, flat, incline bench, can hold 1000 lbs. My current bench only can hold 200 lbs on the rack, and 500 lbs on the bench, so I’m already over it’s safety limit. The new bench and power rack will be a lot better. I also bougth a punching bag, I want to start taking up boxing. The doctor said no boxing or that either, but I tried it out anyways, and learned how to wrap my hands.
Well gota go.

I had Jaw surgery about two weeks ago. It sucks so bad, I can’t workout or run or anything, cause it could start bleeding. All I can eat is liquid through a syringe. I want to use my supplement drink, but cash is a little low, so Iwant to save it for building muscle once i can start lifting weights again. I have lost tons of weight, and I thought because of the way I would have to eat I’d be losing muscle, but lucky for me I have nutrition knowledge because of my interest in fitness, so I am able to eat enough liquid to give me a good calorie deficit that will burn fat, but not a lot of my muscle, so I’ve came down from 230 to 213, and my body fat percentage dropped for 22 to 18, so I am losing fat and not muscle. I have lost some muscle of course, but not a whole lot. Anyways, I can’t to start building muscle, and I’ll make sure that I don’t gain all this fat back that i’ve lost.
Anyways, gota go,

Wow it feels good to be back. Well the army really didn’t make me more physically fit. Actually, I say it made me less physically fit. I mean we had lots of activity, and we had physical training in the morning, but when I came home, my body fat percentage went up, and I gained 6 pounds, though now I’m back to were I was, which is weird, sense I’ve only been home 5 days and haven’t done anything, but that could be because I haven’t been eating as much. They feed you lots of food in the army. Anyways, today I start my workout program again. It’s going to be great. Talk to you all later, I gota go jog.
