I can appreciate the delima you were in--just the call I had to make a month ago. You opted for the show experience and I'm sure that you learned a lot. I'm sorry that I haven't been checking in on you more often. We were on our cruise your contest weekend, and I just spaced it out. I still think your pics show some great stuff.

Hey Corky...yea, not much ya can do when yer laid up from hernia surgery. Just eat clean, get plenty of protein, &amp; maybe get those hand grips that go up in resistense. Yea, ya want yer body 2 fully recover &amp; heal itself before ya start back up. I had hernia surgery in 2007. Read my "Happy Easter" blog I just posted, I talk about my hernia surgery in there. Take care bro! &amp; I wish ya a speedy recovery!!!

This is the Sunday before my hernia surgury. It's been two weeks since I've been able to lift. Have still be doing cardio, but no lifting. Weight is down to 201. Wednesday is my surgury and I've been told it will be six weeks after that before I can lift again. I'm somewhat concerned about the amount of lean mass I'll loose during that time. I'll continue to eat clean, and do cardio as soon as possible after operation. But I'm looking at approx June 1st before I'll be able to start lifting again. Not sure how this will effect my October contest, but we'll just have to cross that bridge when we get there. That would realisticly only give me a month to six weeks to add mass back on before having to start diet for contest. Any imput on keeping as much lean mass would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone.
