Wednesday Leg day

February 5, 2009

I went up a little bit in squats again today, I’m gradually gettin back to where I was! Really wasn’t feeling too good, I was fighting off some sortof stomach thing.. so doing legs I was running from the weight room to the bathroom the whole time :-/ So I let a good load out before squats and was able to move up but it was painful so for the rest I stayed bout the same weight. Still stacked up on the leg extension. 200 lbs on leg curls and worked the glutes. Finished up with calves. Didn’t even bother doing abs…. thought I’d have an accident. Today I’m doin a morning workout and an evening workout… we’ll see how that goes!

Tuesday Back and Bi

I missed monday, due to the fact that too much beer makes you feel like shit.

Yesterday though I hit back hard, happy to be in my own gym again. Hit the deadlifts clean, decided to go up for the last two sets. Did T-Rows and Bar-Rows, Went up in the first set of the T-Rows and carried it throughout the rest of the rows. Pull downs stayed the same, I need to start doing them first sometimes, I"m usually pretty tired by the time I get there. Then finished with a good 20 pull ups. TALK ABOUT A BACK PUMP!!! I was huge! Had a big turtle shell on my back. It was great.

I finished up the workout with preacher curl, cable curls, and then standing EZ bar curls. Actually went up in the preacher curls, thank God I need some size on my biceps.

Sunday Chest & Tri

Well I was still in College Station so I had to workout at the rec. For some reason I just wasn’t doing as good there.. I guess I just wasn’t used to everything.. I dunno, just a mental thing I guess. But I hit everything good, no problems didn’t really move up. Still was benching quite a bit and finished with tri’s. My elbow is starting to hurt less and less so I’m very excited about that.

Bi and Tri/Full Body

Okay so I had a spontaneous trip last week, got to workout on wednesday and combined by bis and tris into one day.
Arms were blowing up, had an amazing pump.. should have measured them. Stayed about the same weight on everything due to the rush.. hate that but hurrying prolly made me have the huge pump that i got.

I played basketball thursday which was fine cus usually that’s my Tri day which I already did. And then I met up with my old water polo team that night and got quite the cardio that I’d been missing! Ha! It sucked. But I’m playing with them in 2 weeks at new orleans so we’ll just see. My endurance was better than I thought it would be and during some sprints I kicked ass.. I can only contribute this to Cellucor because I haven’t been in the water in over a year..

Friday I met with my old workout partner and we did a quick full body because he hadn’t worked out in awhile :-/ I spent more time on my shoulders because that was what I was supposed to workout that day.

And that brings u up to this week

Leg Day

January 27, 2009

Alright so today was legs, blah.

Started off with squats stayed at 335 :-/ but went up from 4 sets of 6 to 4 sets of 8.  Did this for leg extensions as well.. tapped out the machine at 300 and did my 4 sets of 8.  Leg curls and glutes I moved up 10 lbs on both for 8 reps.  Increased 10 lbs on calf raises and 20 lbs on leg press.

Eventually I had to waddle out of the gym! Ha, great day I’ll post a quad pic.

Back & Bi

January 26, 2009

Today i started off with deadlifts, stayed at the same weight, then did pulldowns and moved up a little bit.  Did bar rows and moved up 5 lbs and then did T-Rows and moved up 5 pounds.  Finished up with 25 pull ups straight.  Good day, I really felt the deadlifts! It was blowing up, lats are still tight and I believe I have invinted never before seen muscles in my back!

I increased on my preacher curls and increased on the last set of cable curls but I was tired. All in all great day at the gym!  These pumps give me confidince to just keep movin up in weight, i love it!

Chest & Tri

Forgot to write about my Bi and Tri day on thursday, I was late for my hunting trip.  I worked out at home so I wouldn’t be roped into working.  It was pretty good, I have quite a good home gym, I just outgrew it for chest and back days… any ways great pump all over which was pretty nice and weird, my traps blew up after my arm workout.

I just got back from hunting about 2 today and then headed off to the gym.
Started off with bench, increased in weight to 385 for 4 sets of 6.  Increased 20 lbs in incline today, 20 in decline!  Then did flys and stayed the same from the week before.  Finished with a dumbbell bench burnout and increased 5 lbs.  I had a wicked pump after all of it and it felt like I was about to bust outta my shirt.  Btw, I had to go buy some XL shirts last week because the larges were gettin a little tight :-)

Then did a little tris, Started with closegrip, 4 sets of 12 and then dumbbell kickbacks, 4 sets of 12.  Stayed at the same weight, elbow is almost done healing but didn’t want to push it too far… I really felt it straining on the Bench.

Here’s a pic of my chest kinda a shitty pic cus it’s from a camera phone but it has definitely gotten quite a bit bigger.  Also abs aren’t that great right now due to the bulking.. fyi Chest

Legs & Shoulders

January 21, 2009

Had to combine legs and shoulders today cus I’m leaving tomorrow to go hunting, hopefully i’ll kill something and make this cram week worth it.

Did squats first increased about 10 lbs… not as good as the 20 up from last week but still good.  I maxed out the leg extensions today at 300.  Went up a 10 in the leg curls and then went up 20 in the leg press and calf raises!!!! I was walkin around all bowlegged it was amazing!!! Had a great pump, my shorts and boxers were getting tight around my legs!  It was a pretty cool feeling.

Shoulders I started off with dumbbell front raises w/ 55s for 4 sets, then dumbbell lateral raises w/ 50s for 4 sets, and then rear delts w/ 50s for 4 sets.  I did barbell shoulder press with 135 (i think next week I can move up quite a bit) and then a burnout set of 30 reps for shrugs with 315.

I had 3 people come up to me today and ask me what I was taking and ask how much weight I’ve gained.  THIS SHIT IS GOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!

Back and Bi

Today was back with a little bit of bicep.

Went up in my deadlifts from 325 to 365! for 4 sets of 6.  Pretty stoked about that.  Went up in barbell rows.  Tryin to get back up to where I was with pulldowns (265)… did go up from 225 to 240 today for my sets of six.  Increased in cable rows. Then hit 2 sets of 20 pull ups! Huge pump with my back, was walkin around like an animal for the rest of the time.

Just hit two exercises on bis.  4 sets of 12 for each.  I increased in the preacher curls to 105 (gettin back up there!) then did 1 arm cable curls… pretty burnt out by then but was able to stay at the same weight from the day before.

I had a huge pump goin so I measured my arms when I got home 17 and 3/4!  Half an inch up.  New workout and supplements are working great.
