I would love to hear anyone’s insight on this bodybuilding blues phenomenon. I can’t shake this depressing feeling and can’t get back into the gym. I just dont have any juice.

You have accomplished your goal, you have kicked your own b u t t for a long time. You need to reward yourself, recomver, do something fun just for you and your family, and then reset your goals and get charged! You can do it!

I agree with warhawk, take some time, forget about competing for a bit and just do what you want. You’ll get it back, you just need a break and when you are ready to compete..we will all still be here for you to cheer you on!

It really takes a toll on you… You have beaten your body up with training and diet and now you need time to recover, your body, mind, and soul needs it also…
I took a week COMPLETELY away from the gym (some take longer) but with my weight issues, I COULDN’T take the time away, mentally I just can’t…. I took 3 days away from the contest prep diet and started eating clean after (my issues again)… Trainer has me eating WELL and said that I’m gonna be "not cute" for a while, but it will pay off…lol (IT BETTER…lol)
This is the OFF SEASON, a little time to REVAMP, if you will… USE IT…. This is where we all refocus and get back into the game… It’s okay to take time for yourself, family, and friends…
