Tough day…

Today has been one of my toughest days this year.  I woke up to continue an argument with my boyfriend about trust, seems to have gone on forever.  We finally got over it and decided to start our day with a trip to Lowe’s.  We were there for about 10 minutes when we ran into a woman from work who told us that a girl named Ashley Miller had drowned the day before.  She didn’t know that Ashley and I have shared a duplex for over a year.  I broke down in Lowe’s and told my boyfriend that I needed to go home.  We looked online for details and found out that she had drowned while rafting with some of our other co-workers.  She fell off the back of the boat and was held down by branches.  She was pulled out, CPR was performed for 20 min., she was then airlifted to Knoxville, Tenn. and was dead on arrival.  Ashley was a really sweet person.  I am so saddened by her death, not only for all of her friends and family, but especially for her boyfriend who loved her so much.  She was 24 years old.

Sorry about your loss. So young and a friend makes it hard.
As far as your arguement goes, I find that figjhting at home can either fuel your workout, or distract you to the point of not being able to train. Have to try and leave all the drama behind.

    Hey….You okay?
Wow. (tears) When we least expect it, we are reminded of how precious and delicate life truly is…….None of us knows the time….many of us take life for granted, toiling away day after day, in the hopes that tomorrow will be what we so long it to be: Now, today comes and goes, so many words left unsaid, so many actions left untaken….At the end of the day, we say, "If Only!" Live life to the fullest, I say!! Have no regrets, say what is on your mind. For actions which define today, cannot be taken tomorrow. My thoughts are with you tonight!

Deepest condolences for your loss. She was lucky to have a friend who cared so much for her! Hopefully in time the good memories will bring more comfort than pain. Best wishes.

Very tough day indeed. It is always hard to lose someone that you know and have been close too. Take the time you need and console with loved ones. Let your feelings flow. Then take this memory and let it motivate you to try harder then ever to reach your goals because you are alive and healthy and thankfull for that.
