"Cutting right now, trying to get my bf% down to 12. During Jan & Feb I worked my leags hard, this coupled with keeping carbs low helped me drop BF from 18 to 15%. During Mar and Apr I will be hitting my chest and back hard."

Week 34 of my goal to reduce my BF % by 10 points

After almost eight months, I have finally reached my goal of getting my BF % down to 15.

I started weighing in at 185 lbs with a BF % of 25. This meant that I had LBM of 138.75 lbs and BF of 46.25 lbs.

Reaching this goal took almost three times longer than I planned, but all of this time helped me to develop a better long term diet.

I am now at 157 lbs with a BF% of 15. This gives me an LBM of 133.45 and BF of 23.55. So, of the 28 lbs of lost weight, 22.7 was fat and 5.3 was mass.

I am going to spend the next few months, maintaining the 15% BF level and work on "clean bulking" back the muscle that I lost.

Thanks to all of you who commented and checked out this blog. It was an amazing motivator to know that so many people were paying attention. 

Week 32 of my goal to reduce my BF % by 10 points

So far, I have reduced my BF by 36%. I lost two more pounds over the last couple of weeks. My weight is now down to 156 from 185. This is great!!

Unfortunately, I remain at 16% BF, so I still have 1% to go to reach my goal. I’m just going to keep at it, it’s got to happen eventually, and I like my current diet an exercise program.
