In life we all have our ups and downs, but staying positive is the key to success. And also, never let anybody telling you that you can’t make it. Like in the movie The Pursuit of Hapiness, you have a dream, a goal…. you go get it, don’t listen to anybody! I do believe in that. I just got admit to Concordia University in one of the hardest programs there, Exercices Sciences- Athletic Therapy. Since french is my first language, I’ve decided to challenge myself by doing it in a English University. That’ll put my mind more into fitness and learn a lot more about the human body. There’s a whole facilities with many sports including football, hockey, soccer, basketball of course a huge gym. Now, since my knee got better, I just have to put my mind like I did with school into my contest prep. Having the Nationals pushed back on september 20th kinda messed it up, but I’ll definitely do two maybe even three shows in 08!

I just learned a week ago that next year CBBF Canadian Fitness & Figure Nationals will be on September 20th, in Red Deer, Alberta. Since the show left Bodybuilding in 2001, the promotors are losing lots of money. It is a harder show to promote and by doing it later they are trying to have more girls. It’s going to be hard on the athletes because it is usually at the end of June, not too many girls wnat to go on the diet during summer time. And also, i’m thinking about the Eastern girls, we will have to take a car ride for about an hour 1/2 from Edmonton or Calgary airport…. OUCH!!! So now, im wondering if the girls will do the North American since it’s earlier, or maybe even both? In my case, i’m doing both of them!! And i’m actually thinking about the WBFF, and then do the Arnold Amateur, but it might be too early, depend on what the coach is going to say.
So now, it’s time for vacations before school start in january. I’m going for a whole week with my girlfriend in Dominican Republic…. yippeee! It’s kinda stressing since they had a tropical storm last week, but like we say in french: "le calme après la tempête!" the calm after the storm.

Just got back from another nice weekend to Montreal and what an amazing time there! I think in all the places that I lived, this is the best city! Went to visited the Old-Montreal, the Botanic Garden(Jardin Botanique), shopping on Ste-Catherine Street and of course eat the best french food…. there’s is so much to do there! And I couldn’t complain either with the best cheat day ever, room service with a nice bottle of wine while watching Monday Night Football and having a pedicure done!! Almost too good to be true!!
But it was also nice to see some old friends, and meet some new people that showed me the most wonderful time while I was there. I was so happy for my good friend Myriam Capes who was just coming back from Spain. After she turned Pro at last year Canadian Nationals, she took some time off competing. She went to the Texas Pro not too long ago but unfortunately didn’t make it. But listen to judges advices by losing 7 pds of muscles, and got her qualifiation for the Fitness Olympia by placing 2nd at the Spain Pro show. I can’ wait to hear how people will react when she’ll do her routines. People often compare her to Jenny H, so it’ll be very interesting!
I’ve been working very hard lately on making my knee better and now it’s time for the heavy workout, starting tomorrow!! Gotta meet the coach for a good leg workout tomorrow morning. Time to focus on size!!

Im just about to leave to go see the Mtl Pro show, anybody is going to watch it? Unfortunetaly, there’s no Figure this year only mens bodybuilding. Joe Spinello did a great job promoting the show last year. But one thing i don’t understand is there’s more people that’s going watch the Qc Provincial show than the Mtl Pro show??? There’s pretty big names that goes but i guess people in Qc are not into that. Anyways, i will posted the results as soon as i know.
Talking about the coach, i went to visit him yesterday and my knee is getting better faster than i thought. Getting a new training program next week, can’t wait to start lifting heavy again.

Wow i didn’t write here for a long time!! I’ve been trought some rough times in my life, but it’s not what happen that matters but how you handle it! It’s just amazing how people can be so cruel with others. But seriously after all thoses lies, games, cheating and stuff i won’t even go throught….. now, nothing is scaring me anymore! It makes me such a stronger person in REAL life! I’ve been crazy busy with work, moving and school starting very soon. Unfortunately my program(Human Kinetics) is full for the Fall session. I’m interring Biological Sciences at the University of Windsor in about 3-4 weeks, getting very excited!! But i will definetly ask for a transfer for Human Kinetics for the Winter session.
Just finish talking with my coach on the phone and things are looking a lot better with knee. So i’m starting back heavy weights in about a month… can’t wait!! He’s also trying something different this year concerning my diet. We’re focusing on bringing a whole different look for next year Nationals, i have to impresse the judges a lot since i took a year off because of my injury. And people know me for my posing and i’m also working on a different way to pose for next year. In addition, i quit smoking for about 2 weeks ago….. yippeee…. feel so much better!! I wanted to quit long time ago but like i said i had too much stressed. Well there’s no excuses really, lol, at least now I DONT SMOKE ANYMORE!:-)
Still waiting on my friend David Ford from MuscleMag and Oxygen for my pics we took after last year Nationals. It’s been more than a year and i’m still waiting on that to do my website… ARGHHHH! lol And also the ones i took at the end of April with Doug Schneider. But i’m keeping myself very busy by working on my business, fitness and figure competition suits. If anybody are interested, feel free to send me a PM or email for further infos.

Unfortunatly, I couldn’t make it to this year Nationals due to an knee injury. After talking with my doctor, it is my cartilages so i need to rest and make my knee stronger. My coach is helping me with some lightweights training and plyometrics. Starting to feel a little bit better since all that time of work.
Yesterday it was the Canadian Fitness & Figure in Edmonton and I miss my friends so much! My good friend David Ford was there shooting the show and keeping me updated all day with the judging. Im glad that FINALLY the CBBF is following the "right" judging criterias. I was hoping my friend Jennifer Reece that switched for Figure, will get her Pro card or maybe Macey Boudreau from BC. But it was the tall class winner Jennie Briscoe that took the overall. I was kinda happy on one side cuz she was my biggest competition for this year, but now that shes Pro…. next year will be mine! She presented a much smaller and tighter physique than last year Nationals, dropped 12pds of muscles!! Still dont know all the results but i was kinda disappointed that my Quebec friends didnt place higher. And another thing that surprised me its only one Pro card was giving compare to 4 last year!! Also, im very happy for Marnie Holly in Fitness that become Pro after only 2 years competing, love her routines!

Hopefully I’ll have my pics from my photoshoot i did at the end of April. Then its 2 weeks away with my roomate and 2 of my girlfriends…. yippeee…..thats what i need!! My body is so exhausted from all that work…. getting leaner and leaner!!
