Blog Entry
Today I finished the first week of the Ultimate Weight Loss Challenge. I am extremely sore, but optimistic. It seems like I am the biggest person in this challenge. In class, the others could do all the exercises and I couldn’t. I need to stay with this inspite of the stupid comments of others. I figure, yes I may be the biggest person in class but at least I am there and not sitting on my couch eating potato chips.
I’ve tried harder to keep a log of what I’ve been eating and what kinds of exercises I’ve been doing. I find it difficult to go from working out twice a week with my trainer, Megan to four times a week. I need to find a way to do things without my feet hurting so bad. I’ve purchased expensive shoes made just for my feet, but now I’m curious if there are exercises that will help strengthen just my feet. I must talk to Megan about that during my next training session.
Hopefully this next week will get easier and I can start to see some progress.

Hang in there Chyanna. Don’t let ignorant people get you down. They don’t want you to succeed because it makes them feel better about their pathetic efforts. I know where you are coming from, there are alot of exercises i cant do, but I get up every day and I do the best that I can possibly do. I feel so much better now. The soreness will lessen as you progress. Good luck to you and God bless your efforts!

I have seen it over and over on this site. Stay focused and you can do it better than you ever thought. I am doing a 12 week transformation from BB.com and there have been several I could not do, like chins for example. I struggled and struggled with them, and finally got 1 each of 3 sets.
Lying leg raises - the first time my legs looked like they were having seizures, I was rather embarrassed. The first night I did 1 set of 6, now I just completed 2 sets of 15 with a 5lb weight, followed by a nonweighted set of 15.
Sorry for the long response, but you are so much stronger than the naysayers and the skinny asses who think they own the gym.
Keep on trucking and remember there are plenty of people here to support you!!!
