Woke up this morning at 134 pounds………

Well just returned from the gym and had a great workout.  I usually train in the mornings but I have more energy in the evenings.  I am 18 1/2 weeks to go for my first competition of the year.  The first four weeks is tough and I find it hard eating all six meals and hate those eggs whites……………..

I trained chest this evening……..great workout.  Cardio 1 hr on treadmill - next week I will start two cardios a day.

flat bench press (hammer) 3×8-10

incline DB press 3×8-10

seated chest press 3×12-15

super set with straight arm flyes and cable crossovers 3×12-15 

My diet intake today:

Well didn’t have time for those egg whites…………..

Lean veal with yam

Leav veal with green beans

Chicken breast with salad

Chicken breast with salad and yam

I’ll have egg whites now and 3 rice cakes

I am still missing a meal but I’ll skip it…………….

Well hope everyone is having a great evening.

Supplement I am taking at present is Resolve from MD Diet & Training Solutions

Multi Vitamin once per day

Udos Oil once a day

Calcium/Magnesium 3 x per day

Vitamin C 3x per day

Shift Work………….crap

I am tired this morning………….I am a RN and at times the shift work is tough with training.  I work last evening till 12:30 pm and now off to the gym.  I will be training with a client who is preparing for her first figure show…………….she is very excited.  It’s a  great challenge for me also……………..

Well I must go and hope everyone is having a great start to their day……………….

Good Morning

Well just dropped my son off to school………………….very cold and lot’s of snow here in Toronto, Canada, but it’s beautiful

My weight this morning is 135 pounds………………….feeling much lighter………I’m sure alot of it is water loss.  Off season I don’t really watch what I eat………….I enjoy life as much as I can but I do train hard core all year keeping my bodyfat at approx 22 % off season.  I am a busy lady with other priorities in my life…………….

I do miss my morning Tim Hortin’s coffee with sugar/milk along with my saugage sandwich breakfast………I hate black coffee.

Well this is my diet for the day; I’m am finding it hard eating all the meals but give me 4 weeks and I will be guzzling it down as if there is no tomorrow:

2 shredded wheat biscuits; 8 egg whites

yam with 8 egg whites

grilled chicken with medium size salad

lot’s of gree vegetables with fish

yam and egg whites

potatoe; grilled chicken; medium size salad

Extras:  if I feel like it; jello light; strawberries; fat free yogart

I will be training legs today and running for 1 hr on the treadmill……………..I hate legs - they look strong but they are the weak compared to my upper body.  Well everyone have a fabulous day and talk to you soon.

Great training today………………… 

Tried cardio run for 1 hr on treadmill and lasted only 45 minutes   —- large blister on the left foot……………….finished cardio on stand up bike for 30 minutes

I decided to buy a new pair of shoes from the running room…………………..they are very light and comfortable………….nothing is stopping me now…………

Trained Shoulders Today:

Thursday Shoulders

alternate DM presses - warmp ups then - 1×6-8

front alternate raises - 3 x 10-12

machine shoulder press (ss) with overhead cable rear - 3 x10-12 

bent laterals - 4 @ 15, 12,10,10

I need to take some before pictures for this profile ……………………..

Good evening everyone

Well today I trained legs……………………..I hate training legs - eventhough my legs look great on stage………………..my upperbody is much stronger then my lower body. 

This is what I did for legs today:

Day Two of Training - Competition June 30th

Well today was a good day for training - I’ve been fighting a cold for the last three weeks and today I felt the best in a long time.  I made it through 1 hr run on the treadmill at 6.2 without dying.  I train two cardio per day.  Also I’ve been having problem with my left ankle and found a Athletic Therapist I will be using while preparing for my up coming competitions.  Looking forward to working with him………………

  I train one body part per day with weights.  My program changes every week - different exercises to shock the physique. I trained back today:

TUESDAY BACK

close grip pulldowns        ss        Â
 Â Â Â Â Â Â  1 warm up then                    3×10-12

seated rows                   ss                1 warm up then                    3/10-15

pulldowns to the front     ss                     
   3                                  10-12

parallel grip pulldowns      ss                     
   3                                  10-15

one arm DM rows                    
                    3                                  10-12

This new program is approx 30-45 minutes in the gym working with the weights.  It’s new for me because I usually train alot more sets and lower reps.  But training has to change - don’t want to put to much muscle on for a figure show.  Last year at a natural show I was deducted for muscularity and came in 2nd…………………this year I plan to run every day for a leaner and sleeker look.

Last but not least - Laura Binetti (1999 World Champion Bodybuilder and 5 time Miss Olympia Competitor) has been my trainer for the last 22 years.  She has taught me great knowledge and discipline…………………….we all need great trainers for guidance and support

Well I just finished gaveyard shifts over the weekend (RN)…………….I am tired and now my 7 year old son is ill (single mom), but all these are obstacles I need to ignore because it’s time for serious training and dieting.

I am preparing for my 2007 Figure Competitions……………………  Can’t really decide on which ones I will compete in…………..June - World National Qualifer; CBBF National Figure Fitness Championships and then finally the IFBB North American Championships………….maybe all three……………..I will decide closer to the shows.  Right now I need to concentrate on training.  

Also trying to set up this bodyblog and having some trouble but it time it will fall into place…..LOL

Serious training and dieting starts tomorrow.  I am approx 25% bodyfat and need to get down to approx 13%…………………………one day at a time.

By the way anyone out there preparing for these competitions?  Love to hear from you…
