Love to see some changes…

It’s too bad you can’t add measurements less than 1 inch.  I actually gained 1/2 an inch on my arms but I had to wait until it was a full inch difference to affect the measurement chart.  Anyway I"m happy it was a change for the better.  Little things like this add up to big gains down the road.

 

Gonna hit the shower and relax after some Protein…YUM

Back into the swing…

Wow… I haven’t written anything here since 2008…  A lot has happened since I last updated this blog.  Some good some bad and something just don’t change.  Well I’m back into my 4 day split and have been working it since June this year.  I still haven’t had a smoke since April 2008 15 months butt free….

 

Well I’ll try to be more involved with writing stuff here so talk to you later…

Starting to see the difference

Well it’s September 2008 and I just celebrated my 34th birthday a few days ago (9-5-74).  I have some new equipment downstairs in the dungeon and plan to kick my ass in to high gear using it.  I have been on a 4 day split for one week now and so far so good.  When I look a pics from the first enrty to now I can see subtle differences.  This is encouraging.  I just wished I had a reliable work out partner.  A few friends tried to do the program with me but never kept it up.  A day here then two weeks later another day or two.

 

Oh well It’s just me and my shadow I guess, but thats OK too.  No one to slow mw down.  Anyway just checking in and letting you know whats going on.

“PUSH”

Read this one in a copy of FLEX dated FEB/2007..

Here’s how it will begin…

"It all begins with a simple push-a swift kick in the ass and we’re out on our own, kicking and screaming.  But it dosen’t stop there.  Later, we’ll be pushed around, pushed down-with fists and with words…  You won’t amount to much.  You’re wasting your time.  Don’t be different-just fit in.  Yeah, the world is gonna tell us who we ought to be, never stopping to ask who we actually are.  Who are we?

And this is how it will end…

"We are the misfits and the dreamers.  Though I’m still 4 weeks out, for the past 12, I’ve been pushing too.  Pushing myself to the limit.  Pushing off complacency.  Pushing through hurdles, smashing through walls.  Pushing back at all those in my life who said I’d fail.  Cuz when push comes to shove, you gotta listen to your own voice…  And if anyone tells you different, you tell them to shove it up their ass.

 These 2 paragraphs relly put things into perspective for me eveytime I read them.  Hope it does the same for everyone else too.

Update…

Friday, July 25th, 2008

Hello…

I’m writing to update my bolg.  I plan on taking new pics and measurements on the 10th of August, exactly 30 days from my start of this body space to compare and see where I am.  I feel really good and I’m optimistic about my training.  I started using Gaspari supplements and I feel like they are really making a difference.  Some of my friends tell me "it’s all in your head" but the stuff really helps me in the workouts.  I can honestly say that I’m moving more weight over longer sessions than before taking them… Thank’s Rich

Anyway I ended back up on a 3 day schedule, I just don’t have the time and I want to be sure I’m getting enough time between workouts to grow.  Well I’m about to go downstairs and do my Friday workout so I’m saying later for now.

It’s Official

Well this is my first Body Blog.  I have always talked a lot about changing my apperance and getting fit so now it’s time to put up or finally shut up.  I’ve been working out in my basement for about 1 month now doing a 3 day schedule.  I’m moving onto a 4 day schedule (M,T,Th,F) and I’m really starting to watch what I eat.  I’m a picky eater so this is a little more difficult for me than I thought. 

But no one is gonna do this for me except ME.  I’ve gotten tired of who I looked like and what I felt like, so I decided to do something about it.  I’m going to update this blog probably on a 30 format and look forward to seeing changes on here hopefully soon.

 

Till then, stay strong and get off your ass!!!
