I HATE WINTER!!!!!!!!!!!

So since we’re in the middle of this big chill, or whatever this hell is, my legs are killing me. Feels like growing pains all the way from my hips to my tippy toes. Sure I was fine the other day when it wasn’t minus 30 out. So I had a leg day. I worked them until they were on fire, and maybe I went a bit too far but I was comfortably sore. Sore enough that I knew I did a good job. Then came this big freeze that is wreaking havoc on everything, including my legs, grrrrrr. So I’ve been stumbling around trying not to scream in agony, trying to focus on something other than this horrible pain that throbs uncontrollably and constantly. If you get sore legs when it’s going to rain then you know what I’m talking about. I hate winter!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I found something better than a camera cord….a memory card reader. So I now have recent progress pictures up now. Sorry they’re kind of small but in camera cropping only lets you do so much lol. Please go look at my butt. It may not be the best looking one on the site but I am DAMN proud of it, compared to what it was when I started. So now the main goal is to tone up. I believe I can do a great amount of that before the end of June. I’m also going to start eating better which I should have done a long time ago. Should be quite the trip. Oh yeah, the basement is no longer messy, woohoo!!!!!!!

Well that’s one goal completed! I can wear my underwear and my gut doesn’t hang over it at all! When I sit my gut is NOT on my lap anymore! Those pants that got me motivated to start, well guess what…they don’t fit!!!! They’re too BIG!!!!!!! I have to wear a belt they’re so big! I had bought several pairs of pants and shorts last June and couldn’t wear then because they were too small. They’re to big now too!!! I am absolutely elated to see what a difference there is from August. I even tried on my bikini. The bottoms fit and the top actually looks decent. I want to work on the midriff a bit more but other than that I am so happy about this. Thank you to everyone for all the motivational comments and help offered. Especially Bry!

So because of the vehicle problems I have been walking to school for the last several days. Talk about freakin’ cold!! And since I’ve been hibernating, my body is aching like hell…even with stretching. However I really feel great and have been sweating like crazy when I get home. It’s nice to get out and move around, where at home I just move in one spot (or in an up and down the stairs laundry fashion) I have also started lifting again, but only just. My back is feeling better but I don’t want to overdo it so I’ve only been using 5-10lb weights. Other than that I’m back to my normal 40 hour routine tomorrow. Maybe that’s how the back trouble started….

Now I’m having a really tough time getting rid of this bloody stubborn back fat. It just doesn’t want to go away!!!!!!! It’s horrible and uncomfortable. Now being heavy chested is a bunch more difficult. I have the proper sized bra but the girls are too much for it and it rides up my back constantly. Even if I wear well supported gear it still digs into it. So now I am going to put a bit more time on working that area. I could really use some help and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It looks much better than it did in August but I’m not satisfied with it. I know that I should be happy about the changes but I am pissed! I need to work a bit harder.

Gunchief and Bry you’ll be happy to know that I FINALLY found my camera cord! I decided to take new pictures (I think the others were deleted) and I see that I can actually close my legs completely (I know I shouldn’t of used that saying even though we were all thinking of it in a naughty type of way ;) It’s bloody cold outside. I hate winter!!!! Anyway. I obtained the position (not that kind) that I have mentioned earlier and received a raise so I am very satisfied with things at the moment. Just goes to show that when you start feeling better about yourself you can accomplish anything.  Even if it takes a while. Come on summer!!!!!!!

It is freezing outside! Icy and miserable and disgusting. Walking to school is extremely unpleasant so I’ve been driving there for the last two weeks. At least I get my 3.5 km’s at work now. I am applying for a position at work. My friend left the position and was waiting for seven months to train and prepare the new person for her position. It has been posted twice already and no one has been picked. It’s due to be posted the beginning of December. So for the last five weeks I have taken on this position (which as I said I am applying for) until they find someone or pick me for said position. I have been busting my ass for these five weeks and I will be quite upset if I do not receive this position. I’m already bloody doing it!!!!!!!! Just not getting paid for it. So I speed walk and do lots of heavy lifting and have managed to get myself down to 140lbs!!!! That is the first goal I have met so far! I am so happy! The Christmas party is in three weeks, the dress fits and now I’m going to start picking up the weights a notch. I want to see if within the three weeks if I can flat the tummy and tighten the arms a bit more. I’ll have pictures up soon.

It’s been awhile so I thought I should give an update. School is in full swing now and everyday through the week I walk 3.3 km’s. I’m already starting to fit into some of my old clothes (some with a little more effort than others). I’ve been really sick for the last two weeks and I’m on medication so I’ve been feeling pretty weak. But I still manage to walk to school everyday. I have also started working full time so that adds to my cardio. I’ll start lifting again soon but right now I’m feeling weak still. I’ve been waiting and waiting for the cold to go away but it won’t seem to piss off. I;m really looking forward to the burn!!!!:)

Well work was, as always, a show of me running around like an idiot (as predicted). I work as a lead hand at a pharmaceutical company. My job entails organizing employees and ensuring that they are doing their job, properly. Walking briskly (we’re not allowed to run) to and fro from one unit to the other to production to the warehouse and anywhere else I am summoned. Helping load horribly heavy oven racks, carts and wagons with wheels that are either permanently locked, flat (safety reasons) or full of product,components or cleaning equipment. So lets just say work is a good workout.

Anyway, today was a lazy day. My husband bought my son a Rubik’s Cube. I hate it! I have spent a good chunk of time today fiddling with that stupid block! It’s highly addictive. But I figured it out with the help of youtube after I got so sick of not being able to do more than one side.

I took measurements today. Some areas didn’t lose anything, others did. I stepped on the scale and had to smile a bit. Two pounds so far. More than I expected. I really don’t see it. I find that I’m drinking a lot more water though. Tomorrow is the start of school. I’ll get my cardio on the walk there and back. I’m going to lift in the morning. Is that alright? Or should I do it the other way around? Need to bring it up a notch either way.

I am seriously thinking about joining a gym. I have a bench, free weights and an elliptical at home but I feel it’s not enough. I’ve been finding it really hard to do cardio. The elliptical is great, especially in the winter, but it’s unbelievably BORING! I’ve tried watching tv and listening to music but I find that I really don’t enjoy it. I enjoy walking and since school starts soon I’ll have the opportunity to do it at a steady pace. Today was a lazy day. My son and I went for a walk and climbed through the forest. We stopped off at the park and while he merrily played on the slide I played on the monkey bars and tried to do some pull ups (hahaha) I have to work tomorrow, Sat. and Sun. night so at least I’ll get some exercise running around like an idiot.
