I don’t mind training hard, eating healthy, and doing all that I can to make sure that I have the body that I want. The only thing about this Wonderful World of Fitness is that I don’t agree with achieving these goals in an unnatural way. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not speaking against people who choose to do it that way. To each his/her own… I choose not to do it that way for myself. Anyway, I’m writing because I want to detoxify.But with soo many different products out there, it’s extremely hard to choose. Any suggestions??!!!

I’m Back!!!

Being a college student with limited financing and without an on-campus gym, it’s been real tough to make fitness gains. Not only that, I couldn’t even run around campus before or after class because of the high crime rate where I attend school. I’m a morning person so asking anyone to run with me was out! No-One was getting up at six a.m. to tag along. Though I’ve managed to keep up the healthy eating, I haven’t made all the physical improvements that I wanted. I wasn’t even logging in much because I hated that I wasn’t making progress. It killed me to just sit back and watch everyone around me working hard and doing what was necessary while I was limited in soo many ways. It’s a new year now and that means new changes! No more excuses for me because I’ve seen people who’ve had it far worst than me make it through. I’m willing to invest in myself and do what’s necessary to make these changes. I can’t sit back anymore!!!!

HIIT?!?!?!?

I’ve started HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) about three weeks ago and I have to say that the gains are great. For me, it produced sooo much definition in soo little time. (Although my abdomen is acceptionally outlined, I’m still trying to figure out how to get them to harden up. They’re pretty soft…..LOL!!!) I love it and I’m looking forward to what lies ahead.

Through numerous researching, I’ve noticed that while some experts suggest doing cardio training first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, others feel that a whey protein shake 15-30 minutes prior to cardio workouts is more effective! Which works best?

Frustrated or Focused???!

I find myself not having the drive to go the gym some days (I can’t sayt that I know why I feel like this). But, somehow once I get there, the tables turn completely. It’s Crazy! It’s to the point to where I have to force myself to leave. So the issue is just pushing myself to drive to the gym. After the warm up cardio, three hours pass by real fast and I have no clue where the time went….Crazy, huh?

A couple of days ago, I was beginning to get extremely discouraged. Seemed like everything was coming along quite well except for my core. I eat very healthy. I never have cheat days and rarely ever have cheat meals. But the thing is that it wasn’t my entire abdomen that I was having problems with. It’s my lower tranverse abdominal. Everything else is fine and I can definately see progress. I promised myself that I wouldn’t take any unnatural supplements but I became so frustrated to the point to where I covered the bedroom mirror with a sheet to keep myself from looking in it and getting upset.

I feel like I’ve been working that specific body part forever. However, I know that it’s going to take time so I’ll just keep trying in hopes that I can remain patient. It’s just sooo hard for me to get a good ab workout in without using gym equipment because I suffer from SeVeRe lower back pain that’s sometimes unbearble.

Any suggestions???!

I’m definately feeling absolutely amazing. My workouts have been going as planned and I’m "feeling the burn" in every area targeted. I just started drinking 100% whey protein by ON today and I can’t say that it taste all that great but, oh well, I have to do what I have to do. Maybe I’ll try the Fruit Punch flavor so that I can mix it with water instead of milk. I’m also trying Opti-women by ON for the first time today. We’ll see how it affects my body. I’ll keep you posted….

Ok, here goes nothing!!!… I’ve tried sooo many different machines and abdominal exercise. I really need to figure out a specific and steady workout plan to improve my overall body appearance (particularly targeting legs and abs). Any suggstions??!  I definately know that I’m willing to work and train hard but I am clueless as to where to start. I just joined yesterday so I still have a work to do as far as figuring out this site. Any pointers?
