For those of you who never sold a house, don’t. Between that and daily stress I started and ended my workout on the first lift. A few months ago I slipped and dropped 70# of dumbbells on my face. since then if I don’t have the focus I don’t take the chance. I was in such a bad place today I decided to skip the lifting and not chance the injury. That pissed me off more.

The weekend is over and the new one began. I changed up my schedule so I can get my 3 workouts in this week. I wasn’t to bad over the weekend off from lifting. A few beers to many but other wise I was good. Was nice not to lift for a few days, but really looking forward to hitting it up hardcore again. Legs tomorrow. Can’t wait.

I read in this article sometime off never hurts. So I decided to take this weekend off for my Birthday. Its is also one of the busiest weeks of the year where I work and we have been getting our collective asses kicked each day. I am exhausted and need the break. I can’t go in and do half assed. So I’ll start again monday.

Was chatting with one of the other managers where I work about my lifting. He used to be an athelete and a good one from what he says. He made an interesting point. Why do my leg workout on Friday when I am going to be on my feet for the next 12 hours running around. So I switched up my lefting schedule and did legs today. I am hoping I won’t wear out so fast and will get better gains. Anyone have an opinion?

I worked till 4am and didnt get to sleep till a lovely 6am. Up at 9am. Thank g-d its an off day. I am really wanting to workout tonight after work but those 6ams are killing me. Work is getting rougher going into our busy time. At least when I am off I can get some serious workout going.

Worked till 4am last night. Thank g-d today is a day off. I worked my legs and did squats for the second time. Didn’t get as sore this time. I even got a chance to raise the weight. That felt awesome. I was trying to cut. But decided I want to put on some mass first. Then cut after.

The pleasures of having a gym in your basement is you can write as you work out. This will be the second time I do squating. Unforunately I feel like a damn hamster on a treadmill. Started withy the tread mill, calf raises, leg extensions and the squats.

Possibly going on a date with a girl I took out once a while back. She remebers me when I was heavier and has yet to see what I look like now. I am curious to see the reaction I get. She has also lost weight so this should prove to be a fairly mutual shock.

Its funny how on my days off from work and lifting I do nothing but read about lifting, record my last workout or study towards a cert. At least at night I get a chance to relax or go out. Its a nice change to see all the people who have the same interest as me.

Dedication = waking up when its blistering cold, snow and ice storm and still going to the gym knowing you work from 4 - 1 later that day.
You can’t miss a workout or put it off thats not how you gain
