Spicy, flavorful and Proteinlicious
Sunday, June 1st, 2008Fish kebabs were among the fun things on our menu this weekend
Marinaded the fish a while in advance in a spicy seasoning mix, and then seared in a pan on each side with some olive oil (since I don’t yet have a BBQ grill at my new place). Simply served over a bed of a newly invented rice mix which turned out great: Kohlrabi horseradish-garlic whole-grain wild rice… a bit spicy with the horseradish, but made juicier and refreshing with loads of diced, pan-sauteed kohlrabi, all tossed together with pepper, salt and a generous spoonful of homemade garlic-aioli sauce.
Highly recommended meal!
