November 20, 2008

ok so I went and look at my stats again and noticed that there was no real change to speak of until sept of 08. all of 2007 is a wash.  Since sept.11 I have gained 7.5 pounds in lean mass. thats not bad. just under a pound a week. feeling better and more motivated now

Lean mass calculations

November 4, 2008

OK so I calculated my lean mass since my first entry. Started at 125 ponds at 9% bodyfat, Now I am at 131 pounds at 7.9% body fat for a total of 6.9 pounds of muscle gain since march of 2007. Not bad considering I have not been very consistant with my nutrition. Trying to stay motivated and see some results that I can measure. 6.9 pound is good but almost dissapointing until I point out to myself that 3.5% of the gain has been in the last week.( small number?, not really, considering 5 pounds gained in 9 months, then a gain of .5 pound was just in the last week)

Ahhh results…..

October 27, 2008

So I have been doing EDT. I am on the 3 period of my mesocycle, and I am starting to "see" results.

I am struggling with my appetite, hard to eat more for me since I never feel hungry, but I have been forcing my between meal snacks. Its starting to show in my stats. Mediocre gains of .5 pounds of muscle last week, Vs. 1.5 + pounds of body fat. My goal is to up my lean mass to 1 pound a week with little to no body fat gain (so I can be lazy about cutting my fat come this spring.)

Slow and steady wins the race
