Don’t be afraid
This goes out to begginers. As I have witnessed time and time again, the same thing keeps happening. If you are new to working out and feel intimidated, don’t do what so many others do.Thier first exercise is bench press, why? Why do so many people opt for the bench?I’m not trying to put anyone down but c’mon!Show some class, show that you are serious.Doing 135lbs for 5 all out reps does and proves nothing. Then follow up with the infamous e-z bar curls, why? If you don’t know how to train properly ,ask. Lots of people are willing to help,as long as you really are serious.so next time you join a new gym or go in for a workout, show others that you are there for a reason.Don’t be afraid, everyone started somewhere, but those who truly dedicated themselves and kept going, look the way they look, and lift as much as they lift, because they did it right.

Interesting that you say this, I was at the gym tonite and there was a group of people just helping each other out. It was really nice to see, I just always thought some people wanted to be left alone so they can concentrate on what they are doing.

Yes this is true and I’m just as guilty as anyone else. When I train I really don’t talk to anyone. But if I’m in between sets and I see someone needs a spot or wants some quick advice,I don’t mind.As long as it doesn’t turn into a 30 minute conversation,it’s ok with me.
