Grieving and Eating

I need advice on how to conquer grief, without turning to food? I recently moved in to my Grandma’s house, (who by the way has terminal bone cancer) to help with her illness.  Everyone including myself wants her to beat the battle, but we know it’s only a matter of time before this horrific disease will over take another victim. I have a wonderful support system, and use running as a stress relief (my one hour a day escape). I know I will eventual overcome this sorrow. My problem is that there is so much food around and everybody seems to be obsessed with food, there is always this or that around. How do I deal with my struggle without giving into tempting foods?

I’d make sure there were plenty of the "good" foods around as well. And make darn sure to eat every 2-3 hrs, whether hungry of not, to keep cravings & temptations at bay. And find reasons to get out of the house everyday as an outlet.

Very sorry about your grandma. I’ve lost all my grandparents & both my parents. Prayers coming at ya.
