Building a Better Jay

Well, when I think about how things have been going since we got here, I realize how difficult a bodybuilding lifestyle must seem to those who aren’t living it.  It seems like since I moved I have had every attempt at living my ‘normal’ life squelched by my ignorance of the world around me.  Protein powder - where could I buy it.  (Remember, I had no internet access, so I couldn’t even order from bb.com!)  The Germans have NO DRINKING FOUNTAINS!  How can you get a drink without a fountain?  The Germans have big huge freakin’ lunches.

I am here and alive!   Who would’ve thought it would take us 7 weeks to get internet/phone hookup in Germany?  It has been insane!  We are now in a permanent apartment.  I have found a nice gym (though it could use a squat rack with a safety bar).  My son is in kindergarten here and of the 3 weeks he has been in it, he has had two colds.  Of course, he passes those along to me and my poor American immune system is no match!  I’ve been hit or miss at the gym that last few weeks because of it.  I can’t be lifting much if I’m worried about getting dizzy underneath a barbell.

Anyway, I just wanted to check in and say hello.  I’ll be starting up another journal shortly and continuing on my 18 month bulk!  (OK, maybe a few quick cuts in there because I hate being fat.)
