FRIDAY!!!

Man, I am so ready for this 3 day weekend!  :)   I have an early AM workout tomorrow and then nothing until Monday!!  …and a carb-up on Sunday night!  This is going to be a great weekend - I can feel it.  :D   Yeah, I feel it deep down inside like when you just know you’re going to ace a presentation, put up 250, or run a 18min 5k.  It’s that feeling, ya know? :)

Today was arms & calves followed by more LI cardio.  I did 5 sets descending weight / increasing reps for each exercise, which was rough.  Even with a light weight, high reps is killer after doing heavy sets.  I am lovin’ it, though.  I am also really excited to check my weight / bf this weekend.  I can see some changes in the mirror, so I’m betting the numbers will look good too.  :)   More pics to come next week!

The only thing I’m going to mention about the move to Germany is that I should be starting private language training soon.  It should be fun: 4-6 hours a week (during work hours) of instruction plus some homework.  Ich spreche nur ein bischen Deutsch jetzt, aber ich muss spreche vielen Deutsch bei Januar!

So, ummm, yeah.  It has been crazy at work.  I went to Canada yesterday for a meeting.  I always hate going to Canada because, well, getting back into Michigan is a real chore.  I appreciate the protection offered by the loyal workers inspecting each and every person entering the country.  However, it sure does seem that the lines are getting ridiculous.  Literally, it took about an hour for me to get through the tunnel and then spend 2 minutes getting asked about where I am going and where I had been.  Shouldn’t there be a better system for processing people?

Anyway, I eventually did get home and got a good night’s sleep.  Heck, I was falling asleep on the couch at 8:30.  My wife woke me up and sent me to bed.  :)

This morning’s workout was shoulders, traps, and cardio.  40 minutes of LI cardio ain’t so bad!  My arms are difficult to lift.  I’m ready for more food!  Of course, that will come in 14 weeks….  I love cutting!  (No, really!  LOL!)
