Goals for August - September 2007

So, over the weekend I didn’t get a chance to measure my bf%.  (What can I say?  It was a crazy weekend with very little "me" time.)  That’s OK, though.  I still have my goals for August / September.

Goal #1: Get back my full-ROM and get cleared to lift again with my shoulder.

Goal #2: Get down to 10% bf with reasonable nutrition.

Yes, that is all.  I think that is a full plate - pardon the pun. :)   I’ll be updating later today or tonight with my nutrition / training plan for the coming months!

goals

Motivation is definitely here today.  I got to use some weight at PT last night and I was able to use the elliptical trainer at the gym this morning with no pain.  It’s nice to have options.  :)   I’m hoping to start running again in two weeks!

Anyway, like I said, my motivation is definitely there today so I want to capitalize on that and start thinking about goals and milestones toward achieving them.

My first thought is a body weight / bf% goal.  I’ll set that goal over the weekend once I determine where I am now! :)   My goal is still <10%bf and 150lbs, but I’m not going to be able to lift heavy enough to add much mass for awhile yet.  Before I get there, I need to reach goals like: 100% ROM with my right arm.  I’ll ask my PT to measure me up tomorrow and see where I am.  Another good goal would be symmetry.  My right arm / pec / delt / lat have atrophied during immobilization and the subsequent lack of use.  It’s obvious if you look at me and I don’t like it one bit.

So, that’s a good start, I think.
