hey there Chassidy- might be as simple as your using up all your stored carbs with the running. try takiing some slow gi (oatmeal) carbs about an two hours before the workout and some high gi (juice) right before, don't need huge amounts but carbs do fuel the muscles.

You're not losing it, but excess cardio can depress testosterone levels. This may be why your strength seems off in the gym. You may need more recovery time between running and lifting sessions.

Good Luck.

Well, you're going to have to eat something! Can't make everyone happy, so just please yourself with what you eat. We're all going to die, might as well die healthy.

ah. have you read the secret? lol. i totally agree! Postiive thinking makes for a much better day. and we all have that friend that when you throw out an idea, the first reaction, though, and sentence by them is negative and it brings you down into thier negative atmosphere. cant let that happen and must stay positive and surround your self with positive minded people, as well as try to put some positivitiy into those pesamists! keep up the great work and great attitude!

How much weight are you pulling for chest? I understand the crippled hands part--especially when you are holding 50 lbs dumbbells over your body while your hands are shakey and your trying not to drop it in your face! It is def. hard to work out on your own--I would suggest finding a partner who has the same strength as you so you can push each other! Good luck with all your goals!

I just wrote a comment and it got bumped.

Hopefully, it doesn't post twice.

The point of my previous comment is that it's important to train chest if you train back and shoulders. Your chest is the antagonist of your back, and you can create an overall structural imbalance if you don't train chest, as well as possible lead to an imbalance in your shoulders.

You'll probably find your posture will improve if you train back and chest equally!
