Feeling Blue
So i came home today and went to go take some new pics to put up, and instead of making me feel good, i just ended up feeling down… Im just discouraged. I know results are not instant, and they do take awhile.. But its not like i sit on my butt all day long and eat junk. I KNOW i should eat better than i do, and ive heard it more than once that "eating good is 80% of looking good." Maybe im not eating ENOUGH, if that makes any sense. I know that if you dont eat enough when you are really active that (especially being female) your body goes into "starvation" mode and holds onto whatever you eat. I dont have a ton of fat to lose, and those last few are usually the hardest. It just seems like i NEVER see results. I take pictures often, and they all to look the same. I just have to keep at it.. And continue to think positively!

camogirlie,
keep doing what you’re doing. you look great. there will always be ups and downs but what makes us different is being able to power thru those times. if you feel that it may be your diet, just revisit your diet and maybe have someone take a look to see if they can provide you some input. Stay positive and strong.

Keep a log of what you eat put every thing that you eat down and how much. Then you can figure out how much cals, protein and carbs you are intaking.

They are all right, The most important thing is to "WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING THAT GOES INTO YOUR MOUTH" That way you can change what you are doing if you have to. Remember progression not perfection.

yep…and a cheat day is important once a week to get that metabolism back up after cutting calories. you could either eat a little sloppier for a day, or just eat more protein/complex carbs (this works best). you can go about 2000 kcal over your maintenance once a week and not gain any fat back if you’re training hard. it may show up as water weight, but that’s gone in 36 hours or so. using this (along with some other nutritional science) i’ve gained some mass and lost fat recently, so it’s working for me fwiw.
