Slow & steady wins the race right?

Ugh…starting to see a wee bit of progress..but it’s slow coming being that I’ve been battling the late night study sessions and the bad late night eating habits that go along w/it.  The good thing is that I have fallen in love w/going to the gym… it’s a nice break!  ..and today the scale budged (I hadn’t checked it in a while because Lord knows I would have had a hissy fit if it went in the wrong direction!) But it’s down a few lbs as of this am.  Hope this is the start of a nice downward spiral! :0)~

The good: the firemen were gorgeous….

the bad: they were here because my OVEN was on fire! OMG…I hate to jinx myself, but what ELSE can possibly happen…I’m starting to wonder if this home is jinxed or something.  Anyways…the daycare closes in 40 minutes and the babies haven’t eaten..so I’ll have to manage a workout at home. That sucks..but at least I still have a kitchen..even if I can’t cook in it. :0)~

update: LOVE It! …it’s over in a hurry and I’m sweating like whoooooa…so it has to be doing a little somethin’ somethin’…I found an article that says to do the same amt of time for 2 days and then add a minute every 3rd day..so that’s the master plan.

but not in a good way! I’ve decided to up my cardio in a major way…was adding a few minutes here/there..but as of 2 days ago I’ve doubled the sad amount of time that I’d been so reluctantly dedicating to cardio.  I’m ramping it up way more.  I need to burn that frickin FAT, so no more taking it easy on the cardio. I’d much rather feel the burn by lifting weights, BUT my waist-less body needs some serious fat burning in a major way..and so cardio it is. CARDIO Sucks!!!

Joined a gym

and got in a really great workout today..and MAN..it is sooooooo nice to have the kiddos taken care of and to workout distraction freeeeeeeeee! AAH..big difference.  I’ve always worked out at home when I did workout ..so this was an experience I didn’t think I’d totally be comfortable w/..but nothing to it.  I didn’t feel self conscious or awkward or anything..and actually rather enjoyed myself.  Glad I joined…can’t wait to go back tomorrow….

it’s been a while, but I’ve been wanting to start up..and well I did it!  I can’t say I made it very far..lol BUT my arse was out there..and that’s a start.  I almost died of an asthma attack in the process….but hey..I did it , right! ? lol!  I’m still feeling super motivated..I’ll be out lifting later today- hopefully I’ll start to ’see’ the progress soon- .

I LOVE it….I really kicked it up a notch this week..w/the friendly advice of my buddy mr officer :0) I am really feeling it today! Thank God..was starting to think I was doing something wrong.  Day 2 w/ Hydroxycut Hardcore and so far so good…we’ll see what happens from here. I’m am sooo dying to have some progress pics to post along side those funky before shots I so courageously/foolishly (depending on your perspective) posted! Hasta manana~ CaliMami

Okay..I am in the process of loading some serious(ly UGLY) before pics …I can NOT believe I’m going public w/these pictures that are quite frankly showing me looking like a HOT MESS! omg…Okay..but that which doesn’t kill me (ie public humiliation in this case) will make me stronger…right? Please tell me I’m right! I’m open to suggestions / advice / constructive criticism, new friends and prayers! lol :0)~ I think it’s going to take all of the above to help me along every now and again….well..off to finish the uploading..hope the camera doesn’t break in the process!

about the game….but am excited for the commercials and performances :0) Got  a really great workout in  and had enough time to really push myself today…and it was nice and early so I get that lovely feeling of accomplishment all day…now I’m  trying to get some studying in before kickoff…..another semi-lazy Sunday…love it!

Okay..fast forward 2 weeks..and I’ve still not been able to incorporate the weights into my routine- but I’m still managing to hang on to the cleaner eating (which in itself is miraculous for me! ) and I’m  managing to sleep better which is helping me to keep my sanity this qrtr in school….I’m slammed w/homework , but managing to get in some cardio- wish I could do it all. - I’ll find a way because I am on a serious mission :0)
