Okay..I’m not the big blogger that many are, but just thought I would do this one. I have heard many many things about nitric oxide products and its benefits. So, with so many on the market, what is the best? Just trying to get the right expansion of blood vessels.

Tonight I met with former Mr Universe Yohnnie Shambourger. He will be my new competition trainer. I am pretty excited to actually have someone who knows what they are doing. To many guys at the gym "think" they know but really don’t. Anyway, looking forward to getting after it..Watch out..I think I may make my show at the end of the year!!!

Okay..Here comes the hard part. Shopping is complete and now the "fun" begins. What fun you may ask, well it the part about avoiding eating all of the sweets and high calorie foods that will be present during this time of year. I plan to cook myself, so I know that I can avoid some high calorie foods, but guys, you know when you go to see mom how that can be. Well, my goal is to NOT over do it, but maintain my focus for the 2009 year. My workouts have been decent, but I want intense!! I have to push myself in order to get into competition shape. If I’m going to do it, I want to WIN!! Peace and Blessings to everyone.

Today was a solid day of eating and workout. I was able to avoid the all time favorite cheat item for me..chocolate chip cookies. I was really focused on my ultimate goal and therefore I was able to avoid such.. Focusing on the task at hand is so critical to achieving my goal. I have come to understand that there are many people within the bodybuilding community who are able to indulge in whatever foods they desire and still have a decent shape and physique, however only those who desire and incredible physique are dedicated and focused on proper nutrition, exercise and proper supplementation. For those who are struggling with those cravings and desire, remember..if you want to achieve, you must be willing to sacrifice.

Ok, I have been at this for a little while now. I have a training journal that I need to update. Tonight was a solid workout. I love training my back. My toughest obstacle will be establishing and maintaining my diet. I pretty much know what to do as far as authorized foods, but having them at the right times combined with the right supplements for optimal muscle growth will be the challenge. Anyway after my lifting session I got in 25 tough minutes of cardio, so now I’m pretty amped trying to wind down and get some sleep. Oh well, tomorrow is another day….Peace and Blessings.
