Headache Stymies Workout

Poor performance today, a nice headache brewed in my left hemisphere and made high intensity reps pretty much impossible about half way through.  Frustrating!  Still, I got most of my workout done, and for the latter part concentrated on more reps at a lower weight to stop spikes in blood pressure making my head pound.

I have a pretty good idea what caused it too: my worst sin regarding bodybuilding is not eating enough/at the right times.  Lunch at 12:30pm, and then I should have had dinner right after work, but I screwed around and went to the gym on a very empty stomach.  I have got to eat more, and more often.  How do you do it?

I plan ahead. you’ll get used to it once you have done it for awhile. They say it takes doing something 21 times before it becomes a habit. Also make sure you drink enough water before and during your workout.

Have something on hand that is easy and quick to eat like a protein bar or a piece of fruit. Something that will tide you over until you can have a meal.

I get headaches like that too.

Prepare foods in advance!! Stock up on protein bars!! Ready to drink shakes…Just make whole bunch of oatmeal and refrigerate it! It’s good for days!!! and if you mix whey in it it’s a complete meal!!
Invest in cooler and carry all kinds of vegetables and fruits, fruit yogurts and nuts…Kashi cereal…I make meat loaf with ground turkey and oatmeal in it and just cut it and there’s perfect meal you can carry whole day!!!!!
    There!
    I hope I helped a little…
And off topic… Two of my friends crashed their bikes in 3 days…Good riders too…I don’t know what the hell but I’m layin low…HAHAHAHAAHAHAAH
    God speed!!
