It is really cool to see you in the mix ... there is a vids on my bodyspace page with a bicep and another with a tricep [just added today] workout that I have been doing and they scream bro. If you are training everything else with intensity, these two routines will really get you going.

I don't know if you have a set workout program in place or not, but I gained about 1/2" in my arms (relaxed) in just over a month with a program I came up with. Its quite intense though and of course diet always has to be good to fuel the recovery process. Between that and another article I found for calves you might find those interesting. Here's the calf article: http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance_bodybuilding/the_small_calf_solution

Its fuel for thought if nothing else

Ack, those cold fits suck. I usually slam a couple Odwalla Strawberry C-Monsters (1 in AM, 1 in PM) and that usually does the trick to get me back on the right path. Hope you get to feelin' better soon if you aren't already!

Dude, when I am sick I just want to eat junk food and sleep. Heck, I probably look at it as an excuse to be lazy. Luckily, not that sick often. Glad you are doing better. Keep getting beastly.

Maybe instead of starting out with running, just take fast long distance walks.

Are you still following this program? How do you like the pairing of the torso bodypart with arms but instead of back/biceps which are usually done, you're doing back and triceps.

Hey Bulldog ... try drinking more water. Shoot for 2 gallons a day, if you are only doing about one. I carry around two gallon jugs and refill them every night so I know that I have gone through the water that I need. I generally drink the first gallon by the time I have finished my workout in the early AM. My previous workout partner of mine took my advice that way and his abs started coming through and he got pretty tripped out it was something that simpl. The extra water not only helps you metabolize the fat, but also it sends the message to you body that "there is plenty of water available so I don't need to hang on to it..." You might find yourself competing with your wife for the bathroom [lol], but it will help you shed excess water weight. Give it a try.
