HARD to stay disciplined

WHY is it so hard to stay disciplined?  Went on vacation for a week to TX and let the diet slip a bit…lots of fajitas.  Now that I am back at home, it is tough to get back to the discipline that I had before I left.  I know I just need to do it and stop whining about it.  But I can’t help but get frustrated at myself for not being able to get back in gear.  Have not been able to hit the gym b/c of work and schedules for the fam.  So I am taking a little break from here to re-cage and get my mind right in order to reach those lofty goals I have for myself.

Ready to get back to the gym.  Needing to get back in gear….mentally.  WHy is this so hard?  :)

The main reason I hit the gym at 5-5:30am is to avoid work, family & other time conflicts. Nothing to interfere with the workout (except sleep of course……). I suck it up since that’s the only time I can consistently workout, as lunch & evenings simply aren’t an option.

I hope you get your mojo back soon. :D

Bsically its hard because you are making it hard. Nothing wrong with the slip and fall while you were away. I mean its a vacation. But now that thats over with, just get back to what you were doing before you went on vacation. It was only a week ago! As I said, its hard because you are making it that way. You know what you have to do, the only thing you need to do now is start. The longer you procrastinate about it, the longer it will take you to get back on track and the further you will put yourself away from completing your goals. So cut the crap, and lets do it!!Just a little tough love!! :)

Went back to the gym TODAY! Salad and chicken for lunch and tuna for dinner. Right on. Keep pressing friends.

‘ Lot of us in exactly the same place, buddy. sometimes calling ourselves on the need to ‘man-up’ is the first step. ‘ glad you said it for (me), and quite likely a host of others !
