Here we go. Started a few months back really working on the diet…higher lean protein, high fiber, low carb/good carbs, and have dropped for 195 down to 184. Now I’m getting serious about the lifting. Cardio has been good averaging 3-4 mil runs every 4-5 days for past several months also. I’ll likely scale back on the running and ramp up on the weight training. Stay tuned to see if the old guy can make some noticible changes.

It’s been just over a month since I got serious. Diet and exercise routine has been very good. Feeling motivated and I’m liking what I’m seeing. So is my wife
Will post update pics within a week. Still trying to shed the excess fat around my waist to show off the abs I can feel underneath.

Hey Bob … sounds like progress is unfolding! One minor tip bro - don’t eat after 6:00 PM - and if you do, let it be just protein. Earlier in my diet, that was one trick that really blew my mind when I first started getting seriously a year or so ago. When I got consistent about staying away from big dinners the wife prepared for the kids and other evening snacks, that the first 20 lbs to just fell off of me.
Keep at it!
