Champion’s Attitude

I was reading an article in Muscle & Fitnnes and a quote from Tim Tebow of all people (I am a Texas Longhorn fan)resinated with me. 

We can change the football references to "life" and it still holds true.  He said "With every rep, you have to decide whether you’re going to give into the pain.  I know the mental toughness we build up going through our workouts helps us in the fourth quarter (life).  Working as hard as you can on one more rep translates to working as hard as you can on one more play (in life)".

It my sound corny but giving up even in the gym when your tired set’s a trend.  It makes it easier to give up period on life, diet, school, whatever.  

I am no Hercules, but I am trying.  I dont look like i am chiselled out of stone, but i will.  I have found something in this quote that will now make me think about it when i am too tired to hit the last rep.  I am guessing the top people on this site already have this attitude or something very similar.  To those of us who have not met our goals yet and find a day where we think "I can’t" or "I am too tired".   Maybe this will help!

Spin=PAIN

But i love it.  I cant get in an hour of cardio  on anything else.  The grocery store did not have enough gatorade and bannas to get rid of the crmps today.  Try again thursday nd see how i do then.

Did  spin class after full upper body work out.  Oh my )@($*)(%*& _#*_ .  6′3" 300 lbs spinning himself silly.  Could have swam laps in the puddle i left under the bike.

Halo 2 Extreme

I did a cycle of Halo from Nutrishoppe.  Loved it.  Gained 10-20 lbs in all of my dumbell lifts.  Was able to do 6-4 sets of ten at the same weight or higher in all lifts.  Before i did about 4 sets of 6 and was exhausted.  But best of all my wife kept saing my bell was getting smaller.  Have not measured yet but i guess i should.  Cycled off for a month and am now starting Tren 2 extreme.  Will let yall know how it works.

Diet Motivation???

So i am looking for help in the motivation department for diet.  Who isnt right.  I do really good for 3-4 weeks and then something happens.  Something small but it leaves the opening to give in to temptation.  Running out of eggs or waking up late.  But there it is you "can’t" make your breakfast then that turns to well i will just eat the heathier side of the menufor the day.  You might get luck at lunch but there is not much healthy about fast food breakfast.  The wrappers are better for you than the food they cover.

So with that being said i have started clean eating yet again.  I think i am writting this more for me to look back on from time to time and remember these things.  I know that basically if i dont prepare it it is not clean eating.  Even the so called healthy side of the menu is not good for you because the sodium counts are probably pretty high.  Preservatives galore.  So yesterday was shopping day.

I love Cosco.  Huge bag of chicken breast check.  2.5 lbs salmon check. 2.5 lbs talapia check. 2.5 lbs cod check.  Cooked up 2 cod, 2 salmon, 2 talapia and 12 breasts.  Now i have no excuses not to eat right.  Went to newflower got all the yummy vegatable and fruits i could fit in the fridge.  2 boxes brown rice spaghetti noodles.  My boss is even coming into town today and did o look at that as easy way to the local BBQ joint.  Nope he is in training too so i cooked 2 servings of salmon 1.5 cups of green beans for both of us.  This way he does not feel like he has failed his diet either.

Thanks for letting me get this off of my chest.  If you have any suggestions on helping me keep to the diet portion i would love to here them.  The workouts i am doing great on but i know if i can get the diet in check then i will really start to see some results.

Normally i think you should have to be a doctor to use this site.  I have thought i had 2 different kinds of cancer when looking up symptoms before.  Saturday when i woke up i was having sharp stinging pains in my left biceps by lunch they were few and far between.  Sunday same thing.  I cant purposely make it happen all the time to see what kind of movement makes it worse.  Today same thing.  SO i went to web md to see if i could get a better idea.  Brachial Plexus Neuropothy.  From what i can read nerve damage in my biceps.  Gonna go see my chiropractor tomorrow and see if he can do something for it.  If not he has a guy who specializes in soft tissue but is still a chiro.  Will see but gotta do something it is not fun.

Thisis the start of a new week and i am excited.  Got the right class now so school is going to be good!  Started my new workout schedule this morning.  4:30 sure rolls around fast but look at it this way all the endorphins are pumpin first thing and i miss morning traffic.  Have discovered the joy of protien pancakes.  The sahara desert comes to mind.  Made enough for the week.  But on the bright side it’s a change from eggs everymorning. 

I love this new work out.  Today was delts and biceps.  Kinda changed it up from the past.  Did eliptical intervals for cardio.  Started taking a prohormone this weekend anxious to see if it lives up to the hype.  Hope to harden up and get a little bigger.  The cardio that is combined with this workout is bound to trim me up a little.

 The diet is going way better although it could be better.  Having a hard time getting enough caloriesfor sure.  According to all the calculators i should be taking in 3000-3500 and eating healthy makes that goal hard to do.  Any tis on this are greatly appreciated.

Scheduling conflict

With my new workout that is kicking my a$$ and calling me bit#(boy.  Man I love it.  However i just started school and am going to have workout the scheduling conflict between working out and studying.  Gotta train my self to get uo early and go to the gym so i can study in the evening.  The professor said he expects 14 hours of study time away from class.  What have i gotten myself into.  Oh well gotta make it work to get the career and body that i want.  Anybody need TV.  Cause i dont think i will be using one for a while.  AHAHAHA

Stoked

I am stoked!  This new workout i am doing is great.  I feel exhausted after i am done and sore the next day!  WHAT A FEELING!  This has not happened in a while.  I have also dropped lmost 5 lbs this first week.  The great thing is i feel stronger too.
