Bad Gym Day

I wnet to a new branch of my gym last night since the boss was in town, we work out together when he comes in.  Boy is that branch the wrong one to go to.  It had a terrible layout (I notice this since i build for a living).  Every other cardio machine was not working and the ones that were we dirty.  My gym by the house never looked so good and i cant wait to get back in it.  We both agreed and i found myself just not wanting to be there and i know it affected my cardio (but that is the least fun part of my work out anyway).  I know it sounds like alot of excuses but i still got in a good weight lifting work out.  I was pleased with that part anyway.  Today i get back with my trainer for a short work out with him and more on my own.  Should be a better day.

First Picture

Monday, May 26th, 2008

I took a couple of weeks to upload the "before" picture.  I really did not want to do it but i got to thinking…I can ony get better from here.  I am working with a trainer now but will have to find a new one since i am moving for the job.  The training does not stop regaurdless.  My eating has gotten alot better since i got a Bodybugg device.  I can actually see what i am burning.  When i enter the foods i am getting the right split and all but i just dont eat enough (hard to believe but it is true).  I am drinking more shakes and trying to get it up there.  If there are any suggestions please help.

Training

Friday, May 16th, 2008

I have gotten a little lazy early in the game here.  I have not entered all of the workouts i have done this week.  Worked out with my new trainer on Monday and was to tired to type.  Took Tuesday off and then went for a little cardio and light uperbody work out just to get the soreness out.  Did not go on Thursday but went today and got a really good leg work out.  Some how i just hit this strike through thing and cant change it.  I am going to start on interval training this week and see if i get some better results with the cardio.

Training

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

I started with a trainer on Monday and boy did he work my ass off.  At first it was humbling to say the least.  The weight we used was alot less than i do normally but he sure has a method to his madness.  I was wondering how i would drive home after that.  He just about made my arms unusable for the day.  I will see him again on Monday and we will see what he has in store for me.
