It’s been a while since I’ve posted in my BodyBlog.  Everything is going good. I am still trying to gain lean muscle and become close to my goal…I say close b/c I know it is waay hard to get to where I would Love to be with my physique….but I am not going to give up the dream. :) I love striving and pushing to be my best.

I don’t know if I wil ever get on stage again….b/c of my knowledge of past comps, I am very small to compete (and place first and/or pro card <—DREAM)

Still working hard for the love of the personal challenge I bring myself….I train as if I am the biggest and bestest female bodybuilder…lol :D

Coming Back After Surgery!

It’s been six weeks since my Umbilical Hernia and Abdominal Muscle Surgery.

I am back at training. Yesss! I have lost some strength and probably some muscle, but I am determined to gain it all back ….and Then Some !!<—My Goal!

I started back at training on Tuesday Dec. 23rd….I am taking it easy and light for a couple weeks. I will listen to my body as it is still healing from surgery. 

I did an Upper/Lower Split the first two days. My chest was quite sore…as was my total upper body and legs (hams, glutes) from the first two days of training.  I then trained back/biceps and today chest/tris.

I will continue with training, combining back/bis, chest/tris, legs/shoulders.  (not training abs at the moment)

Taking the training slow and easy….yet fatiguing my muscles.

 I posted pictures in  my bodyspace page, in the progress picture section (the last four of the pics).

Healing After Surgery

On Monday Novemeber 17, 2008, I had surgery to repair my Umbilical Hernia, and one above.   Also, the Dr. had to pull together the muscles that were thined out.

It is the second day after surgery, I am in pain.    But I know everyday I will get better.  I just have to do what the Dr says.

2 weeks off work.  4 weeks light cardio, 6 weeks light weights. And by 10 weeks I should be back to training full-force.

*sigh* Even though I NEEDED  the surgery done, the down time and recovery is going to be very hard……Mentally.

I WILL come back STRONG! And my determination will bring me back from where I left off.  AND I will have a cute belly-button back again!!!!!  Yay!

Stick with me during my recovery of healing and with my desire to come back stronger!

8 weeks is up, time for New Program!

November 2, 2008

I finished my 8 week program of "Drop Sets".

I think my body responded well to the training method. But as not to get used to the same routine, I am switching for the next 8 weeks to the Program of 8-12 Reps/5 Sets.

I’ve had good results so far….I am pushing myself hard and focusing intensly on each rep, set and weight. I am giving it my all to build lean sexy muscle!!

I  finished up my ‘Simple Mass Building’ Program.
It was Great 6 weeks…I noticed I gained strength, and along with a good diet, my muscles are appearing more dense! Yay!

I have thought about my plan for my next W/O Program.
I have decided to do ‘Drop Sets’.
I will start off with my heaviest weight, then drop the lbs for the next following sets.
EX: Dumbell Press - 50lbs, 45, 40, 30.

I have done this program before and I love it….I have had real good results form this.
I love the feeling of using Heavy Lbs, then decreasing, but pushing to Failure!
I love the feeling of pushing as hard as I can until my muscles burn ..

I also have decided to put my Cardio session at the end of my w/o.
This is something I haven’t done in years.
I started doing this today…and I like it

Not Feeling It

To put it, bluntly…..I’m Not Feeling It. *sigh*

I never really ‘felt’ this comp….I thought it a good idea b/c it is a close-to-home show, and that I already paid for an NPC card (get the use outta the money, type thing).

Another thing is …I just took some Progress Pictures…and I Don’t Like what I see.

–I see myself as lean, but Not Big Enough (No Mass).
–I don’t like my belly-button which has gotten worse thru time. (eww)

I think I would be wasting time and money if I was to compete at ANY comp.

I enjoy training…actually I LOVE Training
I would never give it up…in fact I would think it a better idea for me to Make Changes in my training and diet and go for More Mass.
Not to compete but just for a difference/change and a challenge for myself….and this could take time, at least a good year.

Contest In September (7weeks) Can I Be Ready?

I have decided to do a comp on September 6th.

This is short notice for me, and I am not sure if I can be ready in time. But after thinking and more thinking…I said why not?  I will do this for the fun of it..condition myself the best I can…and make this a memorable moment for me.

The Challenge will be interesting…or should I say the challenge AND results..lol

Anyway, Here I Go!

Training Program

April 17, 2008

After my comp. I took a week off from training. It did my body good ;)

I started back up with a new training program, in attempt to build more lean mass.

I will be lifting heavery weight, with lower reps, hitting each muscle once a week.

My intened plan is to go 5 sets with 7 reps with a split of:

-BACK

-CHEST

-LEGS/CALVES

-BICEPS/TRICEPS

-SHOULDERS/ABS

 Here’s hoping I will accompish my goal in building lean muscle mass!!
