Super organization day!

Happy Thursday to ya’ll!! I have had a very productive day once again~ got lots of bills and paper work done, plus I caught up with my BuffMother! TEAM members!!  It seems, You all are having a GREAT week too!!!

Yesterday I got in a really good back, sh, bicep workout~ my pipes are looking pretty shapely these days, lol!  I also finished up a couple leg exercises that I missed the night before– Then this morning first thing I got my 2nd synvisc shot in my knee.  My doctor is really nice and he shared his recent weight loss success story with me!  I love hearing success stories~ it fires me up to keep helping others get theirs!  Anyhoo….since I got my shot I really couldn’t get a workout in today~

Tomorrow, we are heading out on a day trip to Tulsa and the ZOO!!  the kids are very excited and so am I!!! I LOVE the Zoo!
when I was a kid,  in Aurora, CO, my Mom would be sure to bring us to the Zoo, the Amusement park and the Museum at least once during the summer…so I have a ton of fun zoo memories.  I want my kids to have some of those same type of fun memories.I do hope to do a small chest workout something tomorrow am before we head out to Tusla…and I’m sure we’ll walk a lot tomorrow.

In other thoughts and news….I been thinking and reading a lot of the posts about being sexy.  I really enjoyed both Julie’s and Crystals posts~ they are both very sexy and confident women!  I love learning more about feeling sexy and being confident…it’s amazing how often times just that little extra effort can make a HUGE impact in our lives.

I read an interesting article about nanotechnology ~ interesting stuff!  It is amazing how advanced science is becoming and how new technology can be good and bad.  The article’s main focus was about that fact that some nano-tech items could be very dangerous to our health because they are so small that they can pass cell membranes and cross the blood/brain barrier.  Definitely something to be aware of until testing has been done~ here is a website about NANOTECHNOLOGY

GRABBIN’ my MOJO today!

I am loving that today is a new day, that it’s Monday and that I have a bit of Mojo to grab!
I struggled the past 2 days with "something"…it could have been the flu, bad PMS or simply HIF…but it led to an utterly unproductive and HIGHLY restful day yesterday…I HATED IT, lol!  It almost kills me to stay in bed all day~ so even though I like the results from rest, I still hate resting.
BTW- today is c-day 28 and I weighed 128 today–lots of CARBS over the weekend

Soooo…I’ve been GOING strong today~ determined to get some great MOJO going this week and to feel SEXY again!
I started my day by getting some work done then headed out to the gym…Here is my workout:
Bench

Incline Hammer Strength press

preacher curl with DB one arm at a time- assisting with the other

Last week I ended up lifting 5 days in a row– and took sat and sun off.
my poa for this week is to finish boosting–so lift heavy! and still not much cardio….I’ll start adding that in again with my buffing phase:

at least 10 VACUUMS daily! along with some dancing :)

I desire to be DESIRABLE= I wanna be SEXY!!!

First and foremost I believe that God created every woman with the ability to be sexy~ He made us with a deep desire to be DESIRABLE!

I wanna be Sexy for my DH…I want him to look at me and be PROUD!

I also wanna be sexy for myself– sexy to me is about confidence and self-esteem.  When I feel sexy…there is NOTHING stopping me!  Sexy to me is not about showing skin or being overtly sexual…it is about being secure in knowing I’ve prepared for life’s situations by taking care of myself both physically, emotionally and mentally.  Being sexy is about being confident that I am bringing my BEST to every situation in life.

Confidence= Sexy
Body awareness= Sexy
Social Intelligence= Sexy
Keeping life fun= Sexy

I am so exited to spend the next six weeks digging into my SEXY SIDE!!

Today- I lifted legs then this afternoon went to the doctor for my MRI follow up…it seems I have a small cyst in my knee, but not much degeneration showing– so he gave me the first of 3 shoots of a synvisc treatment to see if that helps minimize my knee pain.  I am excited to see how it affects it!!!

Well, I am off to watch some "Las Vegas" that we DVR’d…

Gramma’s here!!

Well…today Gramma got here to Arkansas!  the kids are so happy and so am I because they are out of school on fall intersession– today was day 4 of 16 and I can use all the help with them that I can get.  Gramma will be helping both Heidi and I out over the next couple weeks…she is a GOD send!

Besides being busy with her arrival, I managed to get a ton of work done this morning and get a STRONG chest workout done–I benched 125×5 for a couple of the sets and my incline press was up to 130 for a couple sets of six also– my incline flys were done with 40’s today.  C-day 23= HULK in the weight room :)

Well, I gotta go for now– I’ll see you more tomorrow my sexy friends :)

I am feeling frisky today and ready to rock!!  I got in a great leg workout yesterday and an awesome chest, tri, bi workout today!  Life ROCKS~

Can you believe this??

Can you believe this??
I am already done working out today and it’s only 10:30am!!!

…It’s been a GREAT hump DAY already!!
Kids got up and off to school with only about 3 problems (there are always problems…i can handle up to about 4, lol! after that I get a bit frazzled
Then I had time to stop back at home to grab a cup of coffee
Then I was off to my nail appt and after that I hit the gym for a great back, shoulder, bicep and abs  workout :yay:

Here’s the quick run down:
Cybex lat pulls
lower back machine
seated rows
Hammer machine biceps
Hammer Iso Shoulder press machine
Ab wheel- 2 sets of 20
Arnolds
Hammer curls (angled to hit shoulder flare)
lateral raises
bent over raises
upright rows
t-bar rows
Knee ups- 3 sets to fail

I felt good and I really feel like I am getting a much stronger core– all that’s left for me to do today is STRETCH…and I’ll fit that in this evening- I like to do it on the floor in the living room when the kids are home and around because sometimes they join in for fun

Speaking of STRETCHING– here is a video showing some basic leg stretches

I’ve been building my GUNS~

Hey all!!
I hope everyone had a GREAT restful weekend~ I had a good one!  DH and I were able to go on a date Friday night, then Saturday my son GUNZ had another football game…they won again 24-0!!!!  Then yesterday we finally made it to church again after a few weeks away.  I love the results of going to church, it’s just the getting there, sitting there, going home and making lunch afterward part that keeps me from faithfully attending.

Over the past month I’ve been building my GUNS- lol! My arms including my biceps a bit more so I thought I’d share my favorite bicep exercise with you– Pose down Cable Bicep curls :

m- upper body
t- legs

f-legs
sat- mish/mosh of upper body

daily: splits stretching, abs, low carbs (2 daily is the goal), take end of buffing(starting six2sexy pictures/stats in a couple days, take supplements!!
other: no cardio yet…I may try some next week if my knee stays like this, MRI should happen this week on my knee, knee is doing great with lifting on legs

And I wanted to mention here that I’ll be posting in a bit about the new contest we are starting NEXT MONDAY!! the Six2Sexy contest– It’ll run for 6 weeks.  WE are going to be so SEXY when it’s done!
